The hotel has a bar, and a fine restaurant serving delicious Italian specialities. Breakfast is a sweet buffet.

The hotel is simply amazing. The room I was staying in was absolutely fabulous, but the best thing was the kindness of Alessia, the receptionist: I can't really imagine a better treatment, she was helpful and very nice to me and my friend and really made us feel like at home. The rest of the staff was nice, too; we had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious and buffet breakfast was yummy!.

The views from the hotel of the nearer landscapes and Rome in the distance (we were above Rome on a hill) were wonderful and gave a feeling of being in a unique place.The hotel was excellent. It was built in 2004. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff is very helpful and speak english. The train station is about a 10 minute walk and the ride to Rome takes about 35-45 minutes. Really very good. Friendly staff - very nice, clean and spaceous room. Beautiful location.This hotel is beautiful and with airport shuttle service. This is a great deal. Bear in mind that this hotel is not a Marriot, Hilton or the like. It is a relatively new hotel and is on the outskirts of Rome not in the centre. booking.com mentioned that the hotel offers a shuttle to and from ciampino airport. however, no mention was made that this service costs an extra 20EURO each way.Dinner menu was to expensive, we had a nice relatively inexpensive meal at a resteraunt within view of the hotel. No English channels shown on modern flat screen TV, in the bedroom. I bit far away from center of Rome but we knew that and had a car. Train station is 10 minutes walk from hotel and another 30 minutes in train till the center of Rome.We were unabe to have a shower in the morning as the water was not warm. When we advised the lady at reception she didn't seem to register it as a problem and continued to check us out. You also need to have a car as there are no street lights or pavements once you leave the hotel grounds. The location, not central at all. Only Italian tv channels. The hotel was in a fairly isolated place which made getting todifficult. It is aimed mainly at peopleholding weddings. As a resultthere is no bar or communal place to sit. The breakfast was anembarressment, so bad that on the second day I waited til I got to theairport to eat.It would be essential to have a car if you stayed theremore than one night.Heating went off in the afternoon and it was freezing, and I had to havea very cold shower. It seemed to kick in about 3.30pm and warm up quitequickly. The breakfast could have been a little more varied, with realfruit juice and a bit more variety on cold meats etc. TV reception poor. There was no internet access, which was disappointing. The breakfast is simple but for the price it was ok. There is humming from the main lights but we just used the bedside lights. The water was cold!!!!! The phone in the room did not work, couldn'teven call reception. The internet did not work.The restaurant prices were rather high and not value for money. The steak was overcooked and did not come with the sauce as described. However, a couple of little extras were given. I only had breakfast at the hotel and the selection is very narrow, only small croisants, couple of cereals, bread and butter.1- the staff is friendly, but apparently unexperienced. a simple request to have a sandwich served at the bedroom at 8pm was received with genuine surprise - and denied. 2- it was possible to use American Express Card to make the reservations, but the same card was not accepted for paying the bill. 3 - internet connection is not available in the bedroom, but informed otherwise in the website. internet service not available in the rooms and in the lobby was very slow. It's a hotel geared to weddings. You should state this on your site. breakfast was not too much choice and we had to ask for more bread, cheese, yoghurt all the time, it takes about 5-10 minutes before warm water came out of the shower. Although the people were friendly they couldn't fix it. Beside these inconveniences the hotel is good value for money.A new hotel so still a few minor teething problems to sort out, eg humming from electric light fitting; no instructions in the room on how to operate equipment, internal phone no.s etc, taxi didn't know where it was! Catering is run by a separate company so bills have to be paid separately and can't be put on the room bill - a nuisance. Breakfast expensive for what it is. Lack of clearly used and open bars or resturants. They pretended to have internet service and did not! Their services are more setup to be a restaurant rather than a hotel. Internet service not available in the rooms.The water pressure of the shower was too low, I couldn't take a decent shower. The transformer of the halogen lights was so loud that I had to turn them off, therefore in this way the room was illuminated by just two bulbs. The fan of the heater was too noisy to sleep with, so I had to take the fan off and the room was kind of cold. (18°C) The WiFi works downstair only, not in the rooms. I didn't know before going to the hotel that the hotel restaurant would be closed duing or stay therefore we could not have lunchtime / evening meals and had to leave the hotel to go out to eat which incurred expensive taxi rates. they gave me a yoghort for breakfast that had mould on it---the toilet was blocked. No view, the window was opening to a terrace overlooking some rubbish. Also we asked for wake-up service at 7am, but nobody rang the room, we were lucky to have 2 mobiles with alarms on otherwise we would have missed our flight.For breakfast there was only one hotel staff and nothing was ready, we had only 2 coffees (really bad taste for italian standards) and some sliced fruit (2 days old). Awful breakfast(bread was old,after we asked staff to get the fresh one,he came back with the same bread heated in the oven).Broken toilet,no hot water in our bathroom.4 star hotel charge their gests 20 euro for airport transport(about 5km).Restaurant was closed.

Information about the area

At 1,4 km there is the Fontana dei Mori (Mori's Fountain). It is in the historical centre of Marino, that is famous because during the Sagra dell’Uva, a sort of Festival of grapes, from this fountain flows white wine, in October.
At about 3 km there is Castel Gandolfo, the nice little country with the lake and the summer Residence of the Pope.

At 4,00 km there is Frascati with its attractions such as Villa Aldobrandini, also known as Belvedere for its charming location overlooking the whole valley up to Rome, it was built on the order of Cardinal Pietro Aldobrandini, Pope Clement VIII's nephew over a pre-existing edifice built by the Vatican prelate Alessandro Rufini in 1550.
