We loved Marettimo and this hotel was a good place to enjoy it from. The rooms are simple but comfortable and clean without the dreaded plastic mattress covers we often found elsewhere in Sicily. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with freshly squeezed range juice, fresh fruit salad including strawberries (in May) and coffee to order as well as ham, cheese and croissants. Information about the area

Marettimo island, with Favignana and Levanzo, belongs to Egadi archipelago. The island is a mountain in the middle of the sea, a natural reserve with particularly rich flora and fauna, clear waters abundant with fish. It's surrounded by caves and bays, with fascinating naturalistic itineraries plunged through uncontaminated landscape. Marettimo Isle offers a mild weather all over the year. In the small fishermen villlage live about 150 inhabitants.
There are no streets, so car's circulation is forbidden. Marettimo is the ideal place for relaxing, treeking, diving and fishing.

Travelling information

Marettimo is reachable by hydrofoils from Trapani and Marsala with daily transfer, in addition to ferryboat with daily departure from Trapani. On request we have a transfer from and to Palermo and Trapani. At the arrival on Marettimo, we offer also a free handling service of the luggage from the port to the residence.
