The very good position of the appartment, in the heart of Lecce. The kindness and availability of the owners.They kindly satisfied any request of info or service I asked in particular, regarding the typical breakfast. The appartment is very nice and very well equipped. The reality is even better than the pictures on the site. The possibility to park the car in front of the appartment is an asset. all reviews »
The place itself is very nice. However, one of the bed did not have clean sheets and the heating was not working. Nothing has been done about that even though we pointed that out to the owner.

Information about the area
Chiesa di Santa Croce (0.6 km) - This church has an ornate façade in the baroque style with a large rose window and grotesque figures, animals and vegetables. Work began on the church in 1353 but was halted until 1549 and only finally completed in 1695.
Il Duomo (0.5 km) - Lecce’s cathedral was originally built in 1144, and again in 1230. It was totally restored in the years 1659-70 by Giuseppe Zimbalo, who also designed the 70-metre high bell tower.
The Roman amphitheatre (0.7 km) – built in the 2nd century the amphitheatre was once able to hold more than 25,000 people. It is now half-buried because other important monuments were built above it over the centuries.
The Piazza Santo Oronzo (0.7 km) – Saint Oronzo is Lecce’s patron saint because he cured the plague in the city. There is a statue of Saint Oronzo on top of the column in the Piazza.
