The owners were so lovely, so keen to help and welcome us. The family room had an incredible view and very comfortable beds. The swimming pool is perfect. The breakfast made my daughter very happy as it included chocolate cake! I loved the fresh peaches straight from their tree! We met some other friendly guests who also seemed very happy with the place. We loved our stay at Nonna Du! The owners were so warm and welcoming, the room and bathroom was lovely with big picture windows of beautiful countryside. The breakfast was wonderful. By far the nicest place we stayed on our Italy tour. My daughter and niece kept saying " we wish we were back at the Nonna Du". Remarkable Hospitality!.
all reviews » Extremely comfortable, clean, well presented.the manageress speaks good English and is very helpful (she even telephoned ahead for me to sort out a problem with our next accommodation). Extremely good breakfast. Couldn't use the pool because of weather conditions but she set the Table for us to have our own outdoor meal. The family were very friendly and helped with where to eat, visit etc. Even gave us a taste of the wine they make and some local sausages and breads.... of course we had to take a bottle home !! very pleasant stay, would go back. Shame it was so windy or would have definitely used the pool. Thanks Eliana :-) x. We had a wonderful stay at Nonna Du. The B&B is situated on a hill with a beautiful view of the valley. There are nice wooded walks in the area and amazing back roads through the country to explore in the car... And if you like wine, there are plenty of vineyards to visit for a taste of Gavi. everything! Fantastic little B&B - currently rents out three rooms, upgrading to five. Excellent hosting, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Loved every minute. Breakfast was delicious. Room was clean, well designed, good sized and we didn't mind the external bathroom (private). I stayed 1 night at Nonna Du and wish I could stay longer. You feel more like home than a hotel here. The atmosphere is very lovely and cosy. The room is clean and well-decorated.
