We loved the location of the hotel and the area it was in. The rooms are very comfortable and the most clean hotel weve ever stayed in and Im a clean freak. The pool was great and atmosphere good. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough. Its meant to be 3* but this is definately a 4* hotel or close to 5* in European standards. The decor of the hotel was also nice and the hotel ran well.

Away from tourist area and near bus and train stations. The location of the hotel is excellent being just 15 minutes walk from the railway station and five minutes walk to the lake and ferries. The bedrooms and bathrooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. There wasn't anything we didn't like but I would make a couple of recommendations to the hotel. (1) It would be a good idea to provide towels to use for the swimming pool. (2) The scrambled egg, sausage and bacon for breakfast was always cold - it would be much nicer if this could be kept warm. (3) We would have loved to have had tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms. It is on a busy road, although it is set back quite well and the double glazing kept out most of the noise.Room walls a little thin. the surroundings are so and so, no good view. No bar or restaurant, no computer available for guests. Not enough facilities for families i.e. tennis courts, table tennis,. The electricity went out on the saturday night, so we could not get ready to go out, we had to stay in the hotel has my partner had wet hair and could not get ready, losing us a night of our holiday as we had made arrangements to meet friends,,we complained to the management who said it was not there fault,and offered us 10 euros discount from the total bill which we found insulting. Hours for using the pool did not allow for a swim, before breakfast or for an early evening swim after a day out, which would have been enjpyable.No exercise room. Furnishings are super modern which makes for a somewhat cold atmosphere. When checking out the girl wanted us to pay cash and was rude when we paid by card.
