What people say

The warmth of their welcome and fact they had gone out of their way with only 24 hrs notice to cater for my lactose-free diet @ breatfast. Rooms are large. Staff was helpfull giving directions and the food was good. Location. Room decor and fittings could do with a make-over. Street noise very close when windows open, tho' double glazing good when closed. Room to room sound insulation poor.

Situated in the historic centre of Castellammare del Golfo, the Hotel Al Madarig is an excellent base to discover the cultural and natural beauty of Sicily such as the magnificent temple in Segesta, the nature reserve in Lo Zingaro and the Faraglioni sea stacks of Scopello (15 minutes by car).

Furthermore in about half an hour you can reach Palermo, Monreale, Trapani, Erice and the archaeological site in Selinunte.
