The owners, Roberta & Guido, are very friendly, helpful special persons. Roberta picked us up from the train station and explained everything we wanted to know about Bergamo including a map plus hints about best "gelato" place in town and other goodies (Upper Town is a breath of fresh air in the eyes of the traveler); very clean room nicely furnished and equipped among other things with a small espresso machine - which makes a great coffee to wake you up for real; 10 minutes of walking 'til.
all reviews » Guido booked us in and was awesome. Super helpful, well organised and a fountain of knowledge for the area. The idea behind MyRoom is a great one and these growing business will continue to do better and better with time. Rooms were freshly renovated, super clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. --- Be aware you have to make a time for check in before you arrive. The office may not be attended when you arrive without warning (like I did). Be read. Great hotel with very friendly. We stayed at the hotel twice - at the beginning and at the end of our journey and both times we checked-in very late, Guido and his colleague came from the central office and met us to give a key from the room, they also arranged a car for us from the airport only for 13 Euro. The breakfast is very good, they have a coffee-machine and we could enjoy the good coffee. Everything is very clean and the design is great. The hotel is near the city centre and the railwa. Convenient location, great place to stay - very comfortable, clean, with friendly staff. It is not exactly a hotel, but something like apartment: separate rooms with private bathrooms, with common kitchen for breakfast. About 10-15 min. walking distance to the city center. The old town is far away. It is not so close to the railway station and airport bus stop, but you can order a taxi to the airport for 12 Euro (the service provided by the accommodation). It's not a hotel; an apartment with seperated rooms, like hostel..We stayed in room with private bath&toilet, it was very comfortable and clean. There is a kitchen and all guests can have their meals there. Breakfast packages were ready on the kitchen table. There was also coffee machine and mini refrigerator in the kitchen. Also free wifi..30 minutes walk to old city and 10 minutes walk to new city. It was just a perfect accomodation. very friendly and helpful owner, so comfortable and clean, quick response for any inquiry, customer orientated and impressive eco facilities. Not to worry even if u forgot to check ur email or call earlier updating ur arrival, she can be there in 5min when call on the spot. Quiet neighbourhood, opposite pizza restaurant opens till 10pm -friendly staff and nice food, a decent bar just across the road. Taxi to Bergamo airport is €12. Very friendly and helpful staff! Location is quite good: close to the centre of town and train station; there's a bus stop in front of the hotel. The room was fresh and neat. Also, the mattress was extremely comfortable. There's just a couple of rooms in the hotel, so it feels home-like. Our room was great :) spacious, clean and warm. We found set of fresh towels, linens were new-looking and clean, there were also tv and hair dryer. We loved the coffee machine it makes the best coffee and hot chocolate :) we r definitely staying there again ;). It is a very nice and quiet place. The Hotel is situated in a pleasant quarter, not far from the railway station. The stuff is friendly. The room was perfect, there was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in. We also liked a self-service kitchen. Roberta picked us from a station in the night, to be sure that we will find the place – so it was really wonderful! In breakfast packages there was not cheese. Cheese can be added to that package..Nothing more.. 25minutes walk from the train station and city centre. The only minus was Internet. It was very unstable and barely worked at all. But the owner said they r changing it shortly ;). Personally, I liked everything. a little bit cold in the room. very thin walls and only sweets for breakfast but it's not a big problem when you have so many benefits :). Sorry Guido but I could not manage to handle the coffee machine......but I ll see you again anyway after all. There were not shampoo and shower soap in the toilet. The noise from the street was quite loud at night. No air conditioning. First floor with window over very noisy street. The combination of this two made our sleep very disturbed. nothing. No air condition.
