What a gorgeous little place! We booked last minute and it was such fun! Just steps from a gorgeous little town (and we were there for a market that the owners told us about) and on a walking trail. We got a lovely little bottle of jam when we arrived which was consumed immediately. The sound of the waterfall put us to sleep at night and we were happy to have a great little kitchen to make dinner in (oven was a plus, though no microwave). The vicinity to Asciono was great although there was no sense whilst being at the property of it. There is a stream that runs by the house with a small waterfall which also helps to create a ambient of tranquillity.
I texted the owners as we were driving down since I wasn't sure they had seen that we had booked it (I only did it the night before). They were quick to respond, but make sure to text since they have to drive to get to you. Also, they checked our gas usage and charged us on check out. It was only €4.50, but I had visions in my head that it would be expensive. We only had the heat on one night for a few hours.
The one thing that neither of us liked was the bed in the downstairs bedroom. It was incredibly soft and horrid to sleep in.
