Excellent accommodation: shiny, new and clean, more spacious and comfortable than a hotel room, and centrally located to everything I needed. Staff was outstanding, especially Chagai, always welcoming and friendly, polite and helpful, assisting with directions and tours, lovely to talk to, and always asking to ensure I was comfortable. Thanks also to the friendly and wonderful housekeeping staff. This hotel-apartment building is centrally located: next to the very touristy and busy Ben Yehuda .

The hotel is in the center of Jerusalem, on pedestrian street but on the corner of the road for a taxi. 15 min walk to Old city, Mamila str, 5 min walk to take a tram, 2 stops to Mahane-yehuda market... Many cafe, restaurants, very clean and friendly district. The hotel and rooms are fresh and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is big and the shower is modern. You can make warm the food in microwave or make a cup of tea, put the food in the fridge. The apartment/room was roomy, clean and comfortable. Bathroom was excellent with a spa bath. The balcony ran around two sides of the apartment. Kitchen facilities were basic. When heading out to see the sights we asked if we could have a toaster and iron. Both appliances were waiting in our room when we returned. Location was great. Short walk to the Old City, round the corner from Ben Yehuda street and all its shops. Would stay again. I had excellent stay at the Shamai suites thanks to the three boys on reception, Ori, Guy and Ilija who accommodation my every request, i have not recived better service in the five star prestigious hotels i have stayed in the past. As i was a solo traveler there help was invaluable, the location is amazing as well as its only 10 minutes walk to the old city and i would recommend it to everybody. All in all excellent choice of accommodation. We loved this place! The location is really good, in a safe area, 15 minutes walk from the old center, so we didn't need to use public transportation at all. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We stayed in three rooms: the Studio Deluxe is a very cosy room (one of the nicest rooms we ever stayed in); the Studio looks good, just that it is a bit small; the one bedroom suite is very big, probably very suited for a family with a kid. Perfect location to visit Jerusalem, walking area close to the old city and in a very lively district, many restaurants and shops. Very clean and modern equipement/furniture, comfortable beds Quiet at nights. Private parkings very close. We had 2 rooms which could be joined and isolated, very convenient for a family. Would definitely come back and recommend to my family and friends. staff were exceptional nothing was too difficult for them to assist with the apartment was A+, clean & serviced daily, it is practically brand new! with new fittings etc double verandha so sun all day. The room was in good condition, and management maintained a clean house. During my busy 4-day stay, I was comfortable and well-located within the center of Jerusalem. The room was large and there were kitchen facilities, though minimal (no stove, just a microwave). Kitchen would have been improved if some sort of cooktop or hotplate was included. the Studio room had the balcony towards a backyard that didn't look good; the Studio deluxe (3rd floor) could get a bit noisy in the evenings, but if you close the windows it's ok. Nothing. city noises beds were a little wobbly & small. A second, larger garbage can in the kitchen area would be appreciated -- I forgot to tell staff this. There were no problems. Not the most comfortable bed. Definitely not luxury facilities. Bathroom small. No lobby to speak of. The internet signal was weak to nonexistent. Needs a few more utensils/kitchen items to use in food prep. Would like to have a hot plate as well as the microwave. The big bed was actually 2 separated bed next to each other which was uncomfortable for a couple. I feel that the bathrooms weren't cleaned as well as they should have been. The door to the guest bathroom could not close properly. Nothing really.. Had a minor TV problem but that was promptly attended to. A bit of noice in the evening - for older people could be sometimes disturbing. Reception is open only from 8 am - we arrived much earlier and were lucky to get inside not to wait on the wind (begining of March) but still had to wait almost 2 hrs for a receptionist. On the other hand - if your room is free in the morning they will allow to get it immidiately (before 14.00). There are thin big windows, then it was noisy a bit. Lobby is very tiny and at first I thought, yikes, what are the rooms like. But, the rooms were great. no cloths hanger .needs to provide more pans,. My husband ran out of hot water twice when showering. nothing, everything ok. Not enough stowage. only 1 wardrobe and 2 small bed tables in only 1 of the rooms. so not enough when 4. The 2nd room has strictly no decoration, no reading lights so not easy when want to read at night, not even real beds, but folding beds instead. They were comfortable but.... not real beds.... Nothing. Nothing!. Kitchen equipment very incomplete. (Actually there are no plates but only kind of bowls.) Parking in the area difficult and costly. The bathroom in the exec studio suite was small. - Wifi in the room díd not work for the 3 days we were in the hotel. Everyday they promised to call the technician but that never occured - Unfortuntalely our qualification for the service is not good because of the person that take cares of the front desk during the afternoon. He is so rude and no willing to help. His first answer always is that it is his colleagues fault. There were 2 persons in the morning that were very helpful. Elevator.... And all the lies about great ta hotel on the sea shore....spread by booking .com ! truly a disgrace !. Lock on balcony door broken; bathtub blocked occasionally but this was remedied when brought to staff's attention. The view from the balcony of our first room (24). New travelers to Jerusalem may prefer a place with more facilities and breakfast provided. The hotel has zero amenities. The lobby is small and the elevator only comfortably holds one person with their luggage, which is ridiculous. I didn't know elevators could be that small. Very difficult to find. Took us 2hours. Not actually on a street but a pedestrian only area next door to Pizza Hut and across from McDonalds. Also the hotel has no parking and the kitchen is poorly equipped. A bit noisy early in the monring. At night a little noise but because location near promenade.
