Hotel is in the best location not even 5min walk from main street. Hotel was really nicely decorated and staff were friendly.Great hotel, staff really helpful and nice. Excellent facilities. food. Stayed at the hotel for my boyfriends birthday, we had a brilliant time. Our room was massive and very clean. We were at the very front of the hotel and we had views all around the front with the massive windows. Vending machines were in a room beside ours and an ice machine. i liked the location of the hotel the most. i felt it was accessible to everything i required durning my stay.. shops, pubs etc. I enjoyed a very good breakfast, and staff's very lovely greeting. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were lovely. Lovely large rooms. it was very laid back and relaxing. convenience of 24hr reception and late breakfast on sundays. friendly reception staff. the room was clean and bed was comfy, food was lovely and reasonably priced. It was very central to the middle of town, and it was also very handy that there was parking, the room was bright and clean,. Good location, excellent price, clean and friendly. Staff were pleasant and the food, while not cheap was quiet good. handiness 2 town centre and bars. Easy to find - central location. i have no problems with hotel itself, however we did have to relocated to a twin room instead of a double due to a problem with previous guests. we were notified before arrival but we were not offered anything complimentary eg. breakfast or drink even. that being said i still enjoyed my stay very much!!. Not very much parking. room was a bit hard to heat, room service was a bit slow. I wouldn't say there was anything I didn't like about the hotel, I just found that when we booked in we were told that the restaurant were serving food until 9. A bath would have been nice. The noise at night - there was a continous noise ALL night like a boiler, which made it impossible for us to get asleep. bar / waiting staff using bad language behind the bar in the morning. some members of the kitchen seemed to be drinking on the bar one evening when they were off duty and were very loud whilst watching w darts match on tv.It was extremely difficult to find. The hotel sign is very small and badly presented. I passed the hotels 3 times without seeing it. I arrived at approx 9.30pm no food available. While at the bar I asked was there crisps or peanuts available. None available other than go to a vending machine on the first floor. A minor item - there was no sleep timer switch on the TV. the shower was difficult to set at a normal temperature. The hotel was experiencing problems with its drains and the smell was very evident on the bedroom corridors. This was rectified after commneting to staff on reception.not really stayed here a few times never any probs. Would have been excellent if the booking hadnt been messed up by booking.com. value of the mael, i taught it wad expensive for what was on the plate. No bath, shower waste water overflowing onto floor,no hair drier. Our room was very noisy being on the main road. Breakfast was expensive, but nice. the bathroom,colour, decor, in general not nice bathroom, shower problem that ye are presently addressing was a nuisance. very cold room-in spite of extra duvet, I could not sleep with freezing temperature of the room. when we arrived there was only a double bed in each room, 3 rooms 6 lads!!!! altoh we had 3 twin rooms, the staff prepaired the pull out bed from the couch as a 2nd bed, wasnt the nicest thing to sleep in, plus ment when we were relaxing in the room we could use the couch, also one couch bed was a nite mare to set up so hard to get out and kept folding up once anyone sat on it,. reception staff could have been a little more welcoming. found it hard to find directions good be better. I requested a smoking room which was clearly noted on my reservation form yet the receptionist said I didnt. When i tried to but cigerettes the bar man told me to go to the local shop and only served me when i asked again. Noisy in the morning due to being very close to main road. Shower in the room needed repair. Water went all over the floor from the broken hose. The bar to closed way to early for residence - very very poor for a hotel in centre of town- arrived back from nite club between 2.30 -3.00 to find bar closed - very disappointing. I complained that the shower-head was broken and they did nothing to fixit, and nothing to compensate me for the inconvenience. heat was of in the room.room was quite cold.
