Everything. 1)The bedrooms were absolutely 5 star. The owner clearly invested hugely in the standards throughout this house. The bedrooms and bathrooms were luxurious, while the dining room and living room were equally luxurious. 2) Next to the sea: it is 200 metres walk from the house down to the beach. There is a small gate at the bottom of the garden that brings you straight on to Kells Bay. 3) Gardens: these are exceptional on a national level, never mind an Iveragh or Kerry level. Even if.

We had a lovely stay here in Kells Bay House and Gardens. The House has been recently refurbished throughout and the old furniture is really in keeping with the ambience of the house. This is the place to go for a peaceful and relaxing retreat. A walk in the gardens and woodlands is really lovely especially with the constant sound of the waterfall. A walk to the beach through the garden is literally two minutes away. It was a pity that we could only stay one night. Location. Liked the fact that you had walks through lovely gardens. On the ring of Kerry where you were within easy distance from Cahersiveen Heritage Centre full of History. Take the Car Ferry to Valentia Island and visit Geokaun Mt. And Fogher Cliffs where you have 360 Views at Valentia Islands Highest Point. The Bray Head loop walk was very enjoyable and you got to see Bray tower on the island. Our three night stay at Kells Bay House was delightful in every way.We had a very comfortable, luxurious room, with a lovely view of the bay.We spent many tranquil hours walking in the gardens and enjoyed two delicious Thai meals. We didn't get the most expensive room they had to offer but the bed was the most comfortable in Ireland from all the hotels I stayed at. And we had a beautiful view of the sea. And the grounds had rivers and walkways It was quite lovely. Billy and Penn make you feel really welcome, the hotel is really well presented and decorated. Lovely bathrooms, beds very comfortable and view from the Alexander suite was fantastic. Billy's recommendation of areas to visit was really useful and the 'ring of skellig' was absolutely beautiful. The location and gardens are stunning. The house and rooms are beautifully finished and luxurious. The amazing Thai food just adds to that little bit of magic! A blissful holiday experience.
