Loads! The fact that its a family run hotel employing many local people. Its a lovely warm and welcoming hotel serving wholesome food that just happens to be top notch too! While there was no live entertainment on the night we stayed there was however, a good lively atmosphere going in the place with the bar quite busy all evening. Met a character or 2 throughout our stay. A local lady of 89 out selling tickets for the gaa club. Her spirit and tenacity was something to behold! Also, the next .
all reviews » We liked everything about the Hamlet, we have stayed there before, it's clean and the food is great.I have stayed there a few times alone and still enjoyed myself. The Hamlet is great for us as we us it when we visit our grandchildren who live in Cadamstown and find it great to get away from the city for a break, love it. Rita Leonard [Mrs]. Nothing bad to say. the standard of food at breakfast was not as good as I expected it to be. adequate but not very good. We would have liked to be able to have food after 9 instead we had to go into town. nothing. Bit far to travel to tourist places. We had no problems at all. booked with my mastercard was very dismayed that letsbookhotel.com overcharged by nearly £3 on their conversion rate for 75euro to sterling. Restaurant & bar snacks not available after 8.30 pm. Fact that there were a few foreign nationals with their kids going from room to room, banging doors till 1am and again in the morning from 8am. Lack of toiletries, room too hot. Hard to find. was a bit busy when we arrived but worth it. No complaints.
