Beautiful hotel, the rooms are lovely and you get alot more than you pay for. The Restaurant is quite expensive but it is worth every penny. I have no complaints what so ever. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy going and every detail in the hotel has been finished remarkably. Make sure you visit the toilets in the lounge.. .. great stay. Staff were friendly, room was very clean and spacious, excellentfacilities in the room including a decent hair dryer. Interior of hotelis very unusual. Bar food was very tasty and waiting staff very helpful.

And we loved the cabanas on the patio area outside the bar. Business class room was very spacious and furnished to a high standard.Separate shower room and bathroom a definite bonus. Good quality fullbreakfast offered. Quirky public areas create interest instead of theusual bland corporate areas found in most hotels.Decor was modern, unusual and original..multicultural staff were happy, energetic and helpful. Management was effective and visible.Rooms were comfortable, modern and very clean.Good soundproofing from outside noise. Don`t like much of the decor in the communal areas.No. All is perfect. Reception on the first floor reached by an out of the way lift isn't agood start. Charging for wifi is mean, even McDonalds' wifi is free.Bar food was unsatisfactory and returned. Staff dealt very well with complaint. Breakfast offered good variety but on one occasion was poorly cooked. leaving. continental breakfast was a bit sparse. Strange enough I had some problems in finding it. Sign posting was not obvious enough for me.Asked for leaking sink to be fixed. Was not done during our stay. breakfast was not great not a good selection for full irish no eggs or sasuages.it took a bit long to be picked up by the shuttle and when the driver came he left without us becasue he did not ask, so he had to drive back. Restaurant deteriorated from previous stay, preparation of food not the best. there was no breakfast for the early flights. Cost of the breakfast was a little OTT. Breakfast was nice but a bit chaotic as cutlery crockery and juices were running out and staff had go back and forth replacing them. Breakfast was ok, could have been better and warmer.My 'wake up' call was forgotten for which they apologised. Could have been critical if catching a flight etc. The restaurant and bar area was not very clean, especially the glass tabels ! We had to wait 50 minutes for a soup and a sandwich and it was not busy at all at the time.charges for the movies, internet etc - via TV. Taxi was booked for wrong time and wait time for food in restaurant a little bit slow. too much furniture in Bedroom, Glass top table not required. Hindered getting in and out of bed. there were a few problems including no water one day and electricity the next but these were beyond the control of the hotel, otherwise it was great.No - I would stay again. Did not like been awoken @4.30 AM because of faulty fire alarm.

By Air: A free shuttle bus is available from Cork Airport to the hotel, running every 30 minutes, 7days a week. From Dublin: * Leave Dublin on the M7 following directions to Cork & Limerick. * At Portlaoise, leave M7 for the M8 directed to Cork. * Continue along this road through the toll station at Fermoy until you reach a roundabout called ‘The Dunkettle Interchange’. This marks your entrance to Cork. Take the 2nd exit through the Jack Lynch Tunnel. You are now on the N27. * Take the 3rd exit sign posted for Kinsale & Cork Airport. This will bring you to Kinsale roundabout, take the 1st exit and continue straight up the hill (through a set of traffic lights), sign- posted for Kinsale & Cork Airport. * Continue up the hill through another set of traffic lights until you reach a roundabout at the top of the hill.
