Nick's Pension is full of Character. We had 2 rooms alongside the river. We had both the advantage of being centrally located to shops restaurants and walking to sights of interest while surrounded by nature; birds, river, rice field and trees. Nick's Pension captures the essence of Bali. Laundry standard great. Great value for money Good location Overlooking rice fields, frogs singing at night Very nice staff Good breakfast If you want to go to the gilis you can order a transfer there. Apparently it is cheaper. Great day trips opportunities, lovely driver We did the culture tour, I strongly recommend that.

Friendly staff, clean premises, close to all, the map given with all walking distance attractions was great and information upon arrival. Room was lovely with four poster bed and was very private. This was our fifth stay in Nick's Pension during three trips to Bali and we have to say, we will come back for sure. Always enjoyed this nice and clean place with very friendly and helpful stuff. Breakfast environment in the garden, rooms are quite spacious. Central location but also quiet because it's located on the outside of shopping area. easy to walk to shops. We liked the fact we ended up in Nick's hidded due to the room we booked at Nicks Pension was double booked. Plus there was renovations happening here as well which would of been uncofortable if you wanted to have a swim as the renovations where happening right near the pool area. location, staff,. Nothing. Would have liked a bar fridge, bathroom setup impractical. Lots of stairs. Some of the staff at the reception weren't as friendly as the general Balinese people. Construction at front for the new restaurant was a bit annoying but they allowed us to use the pool in Nick hidden cottages across the road. Nothing really. Development at the front side of the hotel was a bit distracting while beiing at the pool. increase in restaurant prices since upgrade. The rooms where à bit noisy and à bit old which made them not 100% clean. Not very friendly if you have a stroller because of all the stairs. No fridge in the room (can't cost that much to put a minibar in the room!). Construction work at the pool area (if you plan on spending much time by the pool, don't go here until 2014 when the construction work is over. However, if you don't plan on using the pool much, the construction work won't be a problem because the rooms are located approximately 100 m from the pool area). The mattresses could be replaced old and worn. Noisy bed. Mosquitos. My husband did not like the fact that there was no television also hard to obtain transport after 5 pm at the motel ok once you hit ubud plenty of transport. breakfast was poor beds and doors aching making sounds whenever you touched them.
