The atmosphere of the guest house was really nice with a beautiful garden. It is located in the center of Ubud so the market and the monkey forest were walking distance. However the guesthouse is a bit back from the street which makes the place quiet enough when you sleep. The rooms are wide enough and clean. Fun was good enough to sleep comfortably at night of early February. Breakfast was brilliant !!! Staff are so friendly and helpful too!.

Every morning they brought a breakfast to your room, which was extremely nice. Really chilling atmosphere not exactly on the main street, which was another plus. The bed was excellent. I think the mattress was memory foam. The location - an alleyway off monkey forest road - was ideal for me. The bathroom was spacious and modern. It felt clean and comfortable. I would stay here again. - spacious room with traditional decor and modern bathroom - deliciuos breakfast - nice, helpful staff - location: in the middle of Ubud - beautiful surroundings - away from noise of the streets. Location is great! Nice clean new rooms. Not that big but absolutely comfortable. Good price for what you get. Breakfast was good aswell. I don't say I didn't like this but for an information for the customers. My room was just in front of the owners house and staff are always there so I needed to close the curtains whenever I need to change the clothes or something. but at the same time the big windows make the nice atmosphere of the room which I loved. They made us move from one room to another after first night, because they said that room was going to be occupied by new guests. From this you can assume they have a real mess in their booking system. Expect for that, it was a pleasure to stay there. The staff were pushy, but these seems to be typical of Bali. The ceiling fan in my room would not turn off - at times it left me feeling dizzy! The alley way walk to the main road could make you nervous if you were on your own. The 'duvet' on the bed isn't a good idea - a fresh sheet would have been better as I imagine the duvet doesn't get washed. The door didn't fully close (but it still locked). I didn't enjoy the breakfast and their kitchen looked very dirty. - soundproofing of room - could easily hear neighbours talking at night. Room was poorly ventilated and Bit smelly - obviously they keep the room closed all time and no chance to get wetness from the room after taking a shower. Bath curtain and ceiling were moldy. No soap in the bathroom. Vent when on speed more than 2 from 5 was noisy, but we used it only during day, turned off before going to bed, so not really a problem. Its run / guided by the children of the owner, but they show you to the room just as fine and they are well stocked. Bit difficult to find without gps, but letsbookhotel.com location correct on the map. Poor wi-fi signal. The main lamp blinked continuously so I had to use the table lamp while working with my laptop. Also, the cold water needed more push. The bathroom is big but doesnt get cleaned everyday. No privacy, constantly hasseled by staff who lived right opposite and always seemed to be looking in or wanting to know where you were going how r u getting and if uneed a taxi. Breakfast area was very unheigenic, outside and in full view and was off putting to order breakfast as it looked like the pan etc was never washed! Perfect for a one night stiff off but not to relax and rest, maybe upstairs room would be more private! ?. A little bit hard to access to. SPA is not recommendable... staff is friendly, but pretty pushing: every confrontation began with 'what are you going to do today, do you need a taxi'. its the question all over ubud, but 'at home' you don't want to bothered with it (a good informationboard at the entrance works better). airport pickup overpriced! the door of the room, direct in the garden, is a window, hard to close and to open, bad locked! room is rather bareboned. showercurtain was really dirty! open air kitchen, not clean, didn't take the breakfast !. A lot of ants when we first came in the room, but they were all gone the next morning!. We did't have free parking place and wifi did't work. no swoap at bathroom, no very clean sheets...(some spots may be due to humidity).
