Villa Jati is an idyllic oasis. It is in Mangsit, located in the
village, you drive up a dusty, slightly run down lane and arrive at this
beautiful place!! The pool is delightful, gardens very well maintained
and with beautiful flowers. Breakfast was lovely, out by the pool, with
fresh fruit juice and local jam, along with eggs/pancakes etc. Staff
are very friendly, and helpful - will tell you all about the area and
speak good English. Tea and coffee and water are free all the time. It

When I arrived Mangsit ,and the taxi driver turnd inn a dirt road. I feelt a little bit worried. But when the gate to this small hotel opend ,I got the WOW factor. It was like coming in to a small oasis.
Everything is so beatufull ,and all planed and built by the owner Yusuf. The rooms are big,and nicely decorated Even though Yusuf told me that he wasn't finishing with the room's decorations.

The atmosphere at Villas Jati is absolutely serene. It feels like a secret hide-away oasis, where you can let the rest of the world melt away. Tidy, calm, and full of personal charm, the owners and staff have put thought and care into each detail. It would stand up to most luxury hotels in terms of style and ambiance, but what really makes the difference here is the small personal touches placed throughout the garden and villas. Truly, hands down, our favorite place to stay in Indonesia.
I couldn’t believe my eyes when we got to the hotel: it was amazing! Booked only for one night and didn’t want to leave this place. Nicely designed bungalows, pool and garden made with love, very friendly Italian-Indonesian hosting couple, perfect home-made breakfasts.
Designed with European taste, it has still unique Asian style. Every little thing in this hotel is made qualitatively.
Would definitely come back again to this small paradise on Lombok.
Everything! Staff and owner personally received us at around 11 PM and provided us coffee/tea. Room was gorgeous and perfectly clean, swimming pool was nice, breakfast was good and coffee was excellent. Beach very close by, across the road. Owner was very helpful with tips on where to go and what to see. If you like places that provide a genuine personal touch, that are detail-oriented, have eco-friendly design, and give you value for money, this is it.
The place is beautiful! The rooms, the garden, the pool, everything. From the smallest flower to the wall decorations in the room the place was designed and taken care of with love. The service was excellent (When I asked the manager if there were any good places for surfing in the neighborhood he offered one of his own boards to me, for free). The breakfast is simple but flawless.
Antonella and Jabba are stellar hosts in every way. Gracious, Helpful
and they act as concierges, accommodating and competent and knowledgable
of many local resources and people. Healthy, organic breakfasts, The
private garden courtyard with pool is gorgeous and inviting. The
bungalows are beautifully built with hardwood and bamboo, the whole
atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing.

The owner at Villa Jati Mangsit is absolutely lovely! She welcomed us with fresh fruit juice and then recommended a really nice beach-front restaurant for food. She did everything she possibly could to make us feel comfortable and to help us enjoy our stay in Lombok. If you are staying in Lombok, make sure it's at Villa Jati Mangsit!!.

It is set back off the main road meaning it is very quiet. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained. The breakfast was huge and delicious. The staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help you with anything. We will definitely have to return!.

The owner Jabba is very nice and is taking care of the guests in a very nice way. I loved the hotel, felt at home suddenly and it was one of the best places during our Bali and Lombok Trip. Would strongly recommend everyone to stop by there.

Villa Jati is a gorgeous small B&B with a bit of a home stay character. The buildings and garden are absolutely beautiful and the owners are very nice people. It's a great place to relax for a couple of days.

There was nothing to dislike at all.
Some people may be bothered by call to prayer from nearby, but it is a Muslim majority island...in any case, the rest of it more than makes up for it!.
The location displayed on letsbookhotel.com was at my time of visit not right. Drive a little bit further down the road from Senggigi and turn right from the main street on a small road in Mangsit.
We can't think of a thing we didn't like. The location is at the
edge of a jungle and we were delighted with all this brought with
it.....no mosquitoes noted at all and the doors could be left open
without screens. Early morning call to prayer was hardly noticable and
after all this place is 90+% Muslim and we were told they had 1001
mosques on the island.

The hotel is a little tricky to find (or for our taxi driver at least).
Limited access to warungs.But had very good service & good food @ warung Paradiso on the beach.
The only downside to Villa Jati is the early morning noise competition between two near by mosques. I didn't mind it too much since I was getting up early for hikes and diving anyways. If you are a sensitive soul, don't forget your ear plugs.
The only thing we didn't like was the pool. The water was green and didn't invite for a swim, and the pool deckchairs were very uncomfortable.
Breakfast was a little sparse but it meant we didn;t overeat. WIfi was not always operational but the staff tried their best to accommodate our needs.

The fact that it was really in the middle of nowhere. You were
completely dependant on the owner. You had to take either a taxi to town
(15,000 according to the owner 10,000 if you do it yourself) or a bemo
which did not run frequent at all. Breakfast was minimal. No fridge in
the room. You can't use their fridge. For this kind of money in
Indonesia you expect a whole lot more. To compare: a vip bungalow in
town on the beach was cheaper. Value for money: zero!!.
Very expensive, far from everything, and very poor breakfast.
