Everything was absolutely amazing from the moment we checked-in to the moment we checked-out! The location was amazing and just 1 street away from 2 main streets in Seminyak. all reviews » Loved that it was well presented, has a real luxury feel to the rooms and overall. There was a lovely paved path that ran between the Villas, it was landscaped and neat. The villas are private and quiet, you could be anywhere. You have your own pool, entertainment area, kitchen outdoor/indoor areas to relax. A spa is in the complex and the massage and beauty treatments are professional with the staff in uniforms and very well presented and obviously trained, not always the case in Bali! The roo. The staff were wonderful nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They were very prompt to cater to all our requests. The Villa itself was fantastic with our own private pool which we could watch TV from. It was the highlight of our stay so relaxing it was like you were in paradise so relaxing it was our little Oasis away from the hustle & bustle from the streets. We didn't need to leave the resort if we didn't want to.Over all a very relaxing stay at La Villais with very professional . This is the second time I have stayed here (in a one-bedroom pool villa) in the past 11 months (26 nights in total). And this time friends came with me, and also loved it. La Villais is so well-located to great dining and shopping spots (Ginger Moon, Biku, Potato Head, Metis, Ku De Ta et al) and terrific value for money when you can get a deal less than $160/night. Despite being a few minutes walk to the franticly-paced 'Eat' Street, there is no traffic noise and the staff (Fast Eddy included) . Stayed for 17 nights with my wife. Beautiful villa, great pool, very clean. Staff fantastic. They made us feel as though we were the only guests. Addressed us by name and could not do enough for us. Drove us to places we needed to go such as supermarket and money changer as well as scheduled shuttle to Kuta. Breakfasts were nice with sufficient choices- my wife enjoyed the banana and strawberry pancakes. Cannot recommend La Villais highly enough. A truly great experience. ( we have been to Bali. The staff are amazing so friendly, upon leaving I accidentally left my mobile in the car and the driver drove Half an hour to bring it to me - I couldn't believe how nice and genuine they were just great service. The pool villas were beautiful so relaxing felt like I was in paradise. Great location and the free transfer service to kuta is excellent. I will be coming back soon :). My new husband and I just spent 1 week there for our honeymoon and it was perfect!! First time to bali. The villa is private and beautiful and close to some great restaurants and shopping! The staff are amazing and so friendly. My husband was a big fan of the omelette for breaky. We will be back for an anniversary for sure! :). The one they set us up with was a little expensive ($50aus) for a few hrs and he just didn't seem that into it. That I couldn't have stayed another week!!!!!!!!!!!. This is not their usual location as they are building, downside to this is that the villas are located on a back street which isn't very interesting and a short walk from the main road. Nothing really. Cant find fault to a enjoyable stay at la Villas. 1. mosquito 2. Spa /relaxation too expensive. Mosquitos at night- however have a mosquito net around the bed which is drawn by staff every night. Hot water system was a little tricky to get the perfect temperature. But eventually get there in the end. Price of taxi if ordered from the hotel is way more expensive as it starts at a min of 25,000 Rupia, even for a ride into Seminyak main street of 1 km. Best is to just stop a cab that passes by Resort is undergoing some renovations, which lead to noise Breakfast is a bit below par, not what you would expect from a 4 star resort. I hope one day they will fix road outside , but it's not villas fault. Nothing all great. We have a 15month old baby, just the layout being open to the pool, we couldn't leave him to play in then living unattended, so he was confined to the bedroom. The villa itself seems like it needs some work, build up of mould in places and looking a touch tired, feel the room rate is a bit too high based on the maintenance side. There was nothing I disliked about the resort. The breakfast spread was decent but the variety and presentation could have been better. the road of the villas is not at the side of the main road. My partner complains that the breakfast served wasn't the best, but it is okay not an issue at all for me. - Quality and choice of items at breakfast buffet was too basic for this type of villa. It did not entice us to eat at the on-site restaurant or order room service for lunch or dinner. - the kitchenette was only half equipped: cups but no plates, no cork screw, no soap, no kitchen towel, etc. - the tiles in the open-to-the-pool living room are too slippery, especially because they easily get splashed from the pool. Our kids slipped and fell a few times. While the breakfast includes on the likely suspects, it is prepared quite poorly and the establishment would benefit from some professional advice. Even their asian breakfast dishes like fried rice are fairly ordinary. On this basis we did not use the restaurant at all but you are close to some very good restaurants. They should have included, or indicated all extras that could be expected on their tour programs, e.g admission fees. Not a big deal, but good to know how much money to bring. Also, spa prices did not include taxes and service charge, and this is normally mentioned in price as cost ++, which it did not. I didn't like the breakfast, I think they could do a lot better. Although this villa was priced well because we got a great deal on letsbookhotel.com even for the good deal I would have expected a better breakfast. My suggestion would be larger selection of juices, real coffee from a coffee machine. Squeaky bed/mattress. It is time to change the bed i think. Breakfast becomes a little bit boring if you are staying here for an extended period. Coffee is not great. The temporary bar and breakfast area. The quality of some of the furnishing could have been better, and kitchen accessories were very limited. This did not bother us in any way. Breakfast was poor, need to redesign the lighting, not enough light everywhere, can't even see clearly the food we were eating in the dining area. Mosquitoes were too much especially in the opened areas such as swimming pool, living room, and kitchen. Building works going on, in villas and opposite entrance. Stayed last year was quiet as a library, lots of drilling and banging this time round. Also, entrance has moved and is now a bit more treachorous to walk to main road, but still not far to go. There was some construction going on next door but apart from that it was fabulous. bathroom really needs a brighter light. Need to have a bin in the main room. Breakfast was a bit ordinary. breakfast had limited choices and some facilities were showing signs of wearing off; taxi drivers never seemed to be able to find the address without a lot of directions - it may not have been caused by the villas themselves though. Food.. there should be more variety. And it could definitely be better. . I hated the bugs all around! Didnt like the breakfast And the dogs that were in the streets when we get out of the hotel they start barking!. It's a short walk to the main strip, but can be daunting when you first arrive because there are no directional signs, and the location on google maps is wrong. Cabs are cheap though. the food is ok , but you are located to one of the best streets in bali to eat, and it is an easy walk. so nothing really. i would stay again.
