The beach and the sea have nothing to do with the hotel and are a part of nature if the sea is shallow there is nothing the hotel can do about it! Having got that off my chest this hotel is fantastic and very well run, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is out of this world and the speed of the internet is very good not slow reasonably fast. the rooms are very comfortable and towels provided clean and . This hotel has an excellent location in Sanur. There are direct seaside with long sandy beach an the same time 2 great pool with sweet water. The breakfast was amazing: dozen of different meats, exotic fruits, jams from the continental , English till the Indonesian breakfast. There are 2 comlimentary drinking water daily in the room as in other good hotels of Bali. If you wish - for the dinner - you can walk easy out of the hotel in 50-100 m you find friendly restaurants with live music. Breakfast is excellent! Hot waffle and pancake,fresh croissant, tasty Danish,spicy local food,,,the brunch made us fat a little bit. So went to the gym with zbrand new machines! Live show is held on every night. The pools are just on the beech. I could read some free new Japanese magazines. Beautiful hotel directly at the beach, with two big pools and a baby pool and a kids club. We did change rooms when we realised we were not in a delux room, and needed to wait longer for the room, but the room on the top floor 835 we found was perfect and easy to get too other parts of the hotel, and the shuttle bus is a big plus. Loved the location of this hotel. On the beach so you have a choice to sit on lounges on the sand overlooking the ocean or by one of two pools. But not the hotels fault. 1/5 The bathroom was clean but needed attention, the calcification around the shower stall needed to be treated and 2/5 the toilette water tank cover was broken and glued back, which was an eye sore and not acceptable from a 4 star hotel! 3/5 There was no 110v shaver outlet, for my electric toothbrush, in the bathroom, as was indicated on their site! 4/5 Even though the room was airconditioned, there were mosquitos in the room! 5/5 Also the fridge was not cooling!. beach is nothing to write home about. They switched us to a 2nd floor room with no issues!. the rooms are very tired and the bathrooms really need a lift also trouble with mozzies may be a spray should be left in room as we found they were quite trouble some. Breakfast - everything available other then green Vegetables (only starchy ones...beans/potatoes). didnt get picked up at airport as arranged before leaving home. Wooden based beds. food at all venues was on most occasions served cold. Quality of aircon in the room. airconditionng not really cold enough. Rooms out dated. We had booked a room with a garden view room. We checked into the room only to discover it had a view to a tiny garden and mostly just rooves of the building next door and didn't let much sunlight in. I wasn't happy with this so asked to pay to upgrade to a sea view room. They upgraded us at no extra cost as they knew that room wasn't very nice. So I am wondering why you would put people in that room knowing that it is not sarusfactory? This wasn't the best start to the holiday. We stayed at a room that had a terrible smell, like it was a smoking room before or the smell was coming from the airco, I don't know. The curtains of the room were very dirty and disgusting. We would not stay at this hotel again. After this one we moved to another hotel nearby that was much better. Rooms are looking a bit tired Town a bit sterile Overpriced. On the day of our arrival there was only 1 small bottle of water and a large one which we used and were told we have to pay for which I refused as the last hotel supplied 4 small bottles of water.The room service meal we had was cold and tasteless.On our early departure breakfast was ordered at 5-30 am which arrived at 6-20 am making it impossible to eat as we were leaving at 6-30 am so our experience was not very good and will not return or recommend it. Room cleaniness. Tidal beach, low water level most of the time. Food quality. The air conditioning in the room was very poor the bed was very hard and very little storage for your clothes etc.
