We recently stayed at the Bali Emerald villas. We found this to be the perfect romantic, private, retreat we needed to finalize and execute our Bali wedding. The staff and the food was excellent. The privacy of the villa was perfect. The location offered just the right around of everything we would want. One block from a beautiful Sanur beach. Our Villa had a full time maid who would clean, do laundry, cook and help us with anything we asked her to do. Her name was koman. She was sweet and a bl.
all reviews » All of the staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful - they were absolutely great. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The free Wifi Internet worked well, the daily maid service (including washing our clothes) was fantastic (such a lovely lady), our pool cleaned and checked daily and the garden was maintained nicely. The Emerald Villas are in a quieter part of Sanur but only a few minutes walk away from the beach and the busier parts of Sanur with plenty of shops . We stayed at the 3 rooms villa for 2 nights and it was fantastic. The villa is spacious, clean and well maintained although it has been there for quite some time. There were one housekeeper, a technician for swimming pool and gardener to do housekeeping the next morning to take care of the place. The structure of the villa are thoughtful with huge dressing table and outdoor and indoor shower. Comfortable bed and quiet environment and we had really good sleep. Perfect for couple/family/friends. To be greeted each morning with our ever smiling pool man 'Jack' your day started out perfectly, he was proud of his grounds and the pool as he should be. Our house keeper 'Dayu' I wished I could have taken her home, she made my holiday with not having to worry about anything to do for the family ie washing, ironing etc. Room service was very affordable and excellent quality. Overall the whole facility and staff were excellent, it is a little bit of paradise. Can't wait to return. Villa B17 was great for a family, especially our made Tirta was an angel for us. She took care and we could really relax and enjoy our holidays. The beach is 10 mins away but this was not a problem, if you walk around you can see a lot of Sanur. Sanur is to relax, but not to nake party for the young people and don't forget your int. driver license, the police makes a lot of control. The hotel exists of a lot of villas and is in the middle of the Town. Loved the beautiful gardens surrounding our private pool.. The fences are very high and covered with bamboo and other tall plants... Felt very secluded, quiet, romantic... Restful... Room service was excellent and very well priced.. The pool was divine - morning, noon and night! Absolutely couldn't recommend Emerald high enough... Staff were wonderful just to top it all off... Xxx. the private pool was lovely beds where big and soft living area was huge with vaulted ceiling and the accommodation was near enough to the centre but set back from the main road so quiet in the evening beach was a five minute walk away. Our maid Putu was lovely she is there for 8 hours a day and did all your washing and ironing but i did think maybe 8 hours is a bit excessive. My three sisters and I truly enjoyed the two-bedroom villa with private pool. The best part was having a spacious living area between two ensuite bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Then there was the housekeeper to wash our clothes and keep everything clean and tidy. Great pool and quiet surrounding. Perfect for a relaxing time to end our 9D/8N Bali vacation. Villa a1 staff were excellent! The food is lovely! Even though it says that you pay for the internet on letsbookhotel.com we got ours for free of charge. Thanks for that! So clean and tidy, perfect location. Close to shops (Hardy's, Pharmacy) Didn't bother going to the beach because the pool is amazing! We're definitely coming back to this villa!. The villa we stayed in was clean and presentable, it was good value for money and situated in a good position to take advantage of the shopping and restaurants which were within easy walking distance. The beach was an easy 10 minute stroll. I loved the privacy the villa provided and the private pool was warm and clean, yes I will be returning!. Beautiful villa set in a quiet street just 1 minute off the main street in Sanur. The pool is lovely and the outside dining, cooking area contributes to a holiday feeling. Sandy, the maid was lovely and went out of her way to make us feel at home. There are quite a few nice restaurants & shops within walking distance of the villa. The villa was luxurious and our maid was just fantastic. We loved having our washing done each day and loved the room service meals. Everything we needed was close by, money changers, supermarkets, spa's, local markets but its at the quieter end of town and you can walk to the busy end within 10 minutes if you want a bit more action. The staff were very nice and very friendly. The villa was large and fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare any meal we liked. The air cond in the bedrooms was perfect. The pool was large and very clean. The lighting was unbelievable, the location very good. The cost when shared between two families is very good value. The 4 bed villa had an en suite for all rooms, making it an ideal accomodation set up for an older family group or group of friends. All living spaces are external and flow around the central pool. Cleaned to a high standard every day. Chilled water bubbler supplied. 3no TVs. Friendly help full staff n good security. My wife and I loved every minute of our stay at Emerald.Our Villa D2 was very private and quiet which was what we were looking for.The service was first class and enjoyed the many places to eat around the Villas.5 minute walk to beach.Our pool was delightful and got used every day.Will be back to Emerald. Villa was excellent. Well equipped with everything we could need. Water cooler was a real plus. Maid was really good especially with our 3yo daughter. Very quiet and relaxing place with nice private pool. Easy walk to beach and local shops. Short taxi ride to bigger supermarket and lots of restaurants. we have been to bali 6 times now. number 7 coming up in february. we have stayed at emerald villas every time. we find the facility to be fantastic. the staff wonderful. it is a fantastic place to relax and unwind. good luck finding better value for money anywhere. very comfortable,handy for beach and a multitude of restaurants.staff are excellent, villas are not done justice by the websight far more spacious than would appear.Cooking facilities are good although unused by us. The hotel itsself provides good meals. The place was exactly like shown in the pictures. The staff are very friendly. The laundry service was excellent and of great help. The pasta dishes from the onsite Mediterranean restaurant were nowhere as good as advertised. Fortunately we sticked to local dishes 95% of the time. We had to go home :(. Nothing which is worth reporting here, Emerald Villas is very well worth the stay. It would be good to have free wifi in the rooms. There was wifi available for $12 a day but there were strict rules with what you could use it for which excluded everything the kids wanted to do eg. watch youtube and play online games. On the first night we stayed we had a rat visit our villa, not nice. We advised the staff and the next day all the villas were informed that the whole place was being treated for pests. Very quick response. It was a10min walk to beach n shops, although taxis are cheap n easy to find. Pool may be a little to easily accessable n perhaps dangerous with younger children. Air con had to be on full to keep the place cool. A couple of broken loose tiles on pool step. Villa offer a car to shops for $2.50, 50 metres away you can find a metered blue bird taxi for about 50 cents. leaving our villa. Only very small gripe was one of the keys didn`t open the outside gate.Otherwize we couldn`t fault the place. As it is an open concept living hall, there were bats flying around at night leaving dirts around the hall. Felt unsafe to let kids sleep in a separate room. But overall are good. It was quite a walk to the restaurant strip. The reception/foyer were rather ordinary. Nothing ..everything was amazing. Nothing major, but there was only a safe in one of the two rooms which was inconvenient for one couple. If we have small children around please be careful and keep an eye on them as they might fall in the pool. Nil. The pool table need refurbishment though.... Price of the tranfer to the airport: three times more expensive than with a regular taxi (which we finally took). Nothing to mention everything was excellent. Not a big thing but although villa slept six, there wasn't enough sofa seating or pool loungers for six. Otherwise, no complaints. I cant imagine what is bad about This place. coffey,tea and sugar not supplied. Ants, everywhere, no linen basket to put dirty laundry, had to leave on the floor Didn't like being offered a happy ending when having a foot massage Don't like being swindled or harassed to buy items. Resort is a little tired and in need of a fit out/revamp. Things are looking a little old and if they were freshened up I'm sure this resort would be one of the best. nothing. Reception staff should probably be just a little more versed in English as this is the majority of their guests language. Being charged $50 for transfers when most other private transport cost from airport to villa is around $15. the fact that we had to come home. Nothing. I requested a 2 bedroom villa one room for a couple and 1 room with single beds for my son and his aunty. We had to hire a single bed as they didn't have another villa available for a week. 1 villa had dvd in rooms one didn'T. It's a little bit far from the beach. We dont like Sanur so much... I think that real Bali is somewhere else :) We love Lembongan and Ubud. would be nice if can change 2 singles beds for a double bed. Would have liked more outdoor space at our villa.
