Everything - the staff, the food, the room, the facilities are all 5 star. the friendliness of staff. the location and facilities were excellent.Place Club, location of the hotel, very nice hotel. Plus buffet theme dinner.The hotel location was away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the hotel we had stayed at in Legion. It was very relaxing. It was our favourite of the three hotels we stayed at in Bali on this trip. The main shops and night-life at Kuta were only a $7 taxi ride away. We loved the Japanese restaurant at Nusa Dua even better than the better ones in Tokyo!. The food was more than excellent. It relates well to the beach; less cluttered and more spacious feel than the nearby hotels. Grounds are pretty nice and the hotel is upscale. The Spa is good and has 2 squash courts - you can play with the local pro and borrow a racquet, although you should bring your own shoes. Good variety of food but expensive and beware the hidden taxes.Very nice location by the beach with pool, restaurants (quite expensive) and table tennis tables. Excellent for 2 or 3 day stay (longer might get a bit boring). Décoration impressionante. Excellent petit dejeuner.The hawkers on the beach seem to be approching you more often even when on the sun loungers. management did not get our rooms ready on time and in one superiror room in which we requested two separate beds, one was king size and one was normal single bed, hence occupying most of free space. there was no sun protetion umbrellas at the beach. services (bewerages and food) at the beach were overpriced. Swimming pools are too closed from the three restaurants (only afew meters).The only thing we could possibly complain about is that there was no fireworks at New Years Eve. That was a shame because there were many people on the beach expecting something of fireworks or party. the water was very shallow so not for snorkelling. However, a diving/snorkelling boat excursion could easily be arranged.There were not enough umbrellas on the beach. Too many hawkers on the beach - they don't hassle you too much but they quite often stand and obscure the view. I wouldn't expect hawkers at a 5* hotel. Also the hotel security asked my wife for ID when we had been staying there for 2 days already, which was embarrassing for them. Internet did not work (wifi signal too weak) and was anyway overpriced at 50,000Rp per hour.Completely overrated. This is definitively not worth $170 a night inindonesia. Hotel is old, need refurbishment.
