It is our second stay at Novotel Nusa Dua and we have a family suite. As last time we are impressed with the quality of service, from a friendly and efficient check in, immaculate clean rooms, lovely room service, buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from and everyday a different variery of food, the beautiful and well maintained gardens and pool and also the free shuttle to the beach and Bali Collection shopping centre. Hope I did not left anything out, but a great big thankyou to thefriendl.
all reviews » Good value for money. Good breakfast. Spacious two bedroom suite. Friendly staff. Spa was not all that but was ok. Great kids club to allow moms and dads some privacy and couples activities. Very nice area for relaxation and walking. Recommend The Bay oceanfront area and the Bali Collection for a nice night walk and fine food options. Excellent staff! We got a room on the ground floor that we were unhappy with, and when we complained, they fixed it the day after without any problems. All the staff were very helpful and did all they could to help. Nice little private beach with a restaurant for the guests. Food there was excellent!. 1. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Our needs were met promptly. 2. The younger kids enjoyed the private pool in our villa. 3. Good value for money 4. Good selection of food in breakfast buffet 5. Free shuttle service to and from hotel to Bali Collection shopping area and private beach. Very friendly staff that makes you feel at home right away. Very nice pool and a wonderful beach just a short walk away. We stayed in one of the bigger two bedroom appartments and it was excellent. Very good breakfast. Shops and restaurants all within walking distance as was the beach. The pool was excellent ! The staff very helpfull, The resturant by the pool was lovely. Beach club was good but it could have more activities, I enjoyed massage by old ladies at beach. It is a great hotel for a family to spend holidays in Bali. The private beach is clean and very nice. And the facilities in the hotel are also complete. The rooms are very nice and spacious. It has a nice swimmingpool for both older and younger kids. Great kidsclub. Perfect breakfast. Size of 2 bedroom apartment was good, kept nice and clean and well looked after. Executive suite is comfortable for family stay. The swimming pool is quite big and surrounded by trees that gives a 'nature' feelings.Peaceful and serene surroundings. Traffic is a bit of a hassle if you plan to visit other nice areas like Kuta, Seminyak and Jimbarayan, but not a big deal. Use a good guide to plan all your day activities and schedule. Enjoy great Bali :-). Breakfast was a bit poor, and they could have put some ice under the cheese to stop it from sweating!. 1. The massage services at the spa weren't the best. 2. No option to shorten stay by a day since they claim that we booked through letsbookhotel.com and not directly through the hotel. 3. Fresh towels were not readily available after housekeeping service. 4. Not many activities in private beach. The dinner buffet we had at the hotel was not quite up to the otherwise high standard of the hotel but there are plenty of alternatives near the hotel so it is not a problem. Footpaths look worn and dated, lawns are not very well kept. We stayed 6 nights at suite ,The furniture was a bit old , I didn' t like the bathroom , when using the shower the water came out side all over the floor!. No electric adapter was provided. Meanwhile, the daily number of bottle waters in the room were not enough for the consumption of a family. The temperature of the swimmingpool could be a bit colder. Staff were beyond lazy. For an expensive resort they don't offer any service, breakfast was bad quality food. Check in area is disorganised and messy. Had to barter with te hotel to get transport instead of set prices they try to con more money from you. Staff at beach are rude. Leaving to go home and back to work. Room air con not as efficient as desired. taxi and tour services at hotel are too expensive, at least 2 to 3 times more than outside. Tried to book extra days but could'nt as they were fully booked, also the short trip to beach club could have been a little less bumpy??. The beds are a bit too firm for me. Thought food and bar prices were on the high side for what was on offer. Pool shutting 8pm Room service was poor food, they did not collect my food plates after 2 phone calls for 24 hours they were left outside our door. Wifi was flakey. Shuttles bus to the beach. road to the beach needs improving asap .... the room and its equipment were a bit old. the sleeping area (compare to the bathroom) is small. there are no working place (i know this is a holiday hotel). the water in the swimming pool was not that clean. the taxi/tour desk guy never gave up trying to sell his cars even though i insisted to him a lot of time that i would like to take city taxis. Check in took longer time than usual due the staff had to verified the breakfast is included or not.I have shown the booking confirmation but the staff was not convinced.The response time for a request like extra towels etc was slow and unacceptable. It was not exactly close to the beach and had bumpy free shuttle service to the beach. Currently there is construction in the neighbourhood and work is carried out during the nights and one of the night during our stay we could hear construction noise until late 12.45pm. Lack of facilities. One buffet restaurant with limited choice of food. One swimming pool with too many noisy kids. Cost of food & massage are much higher than 5min walk down the road. Room is poorly maintained. We checked in late at 10.30pm. Our first room was smelt and the manager made us check 3-4 other rooms which poorly conditioned as well. Only after we complained very hard, she put extra effort in preparing other room and ensure no bad odor or other problems. We were very exhausted on that day and the hotel treated us like nothing happened. I wouldn't recommend this hotel as service is poor and many rooms are poorly conditioned as well. Service of staff is very late and poor.
