Location is very good. the staffs are very welcoming, warming, friendly and helpful. I came early 1 day. The location is very easy to find. Steps away from Sudirman Railway Station. Nearby eateries, 24hrs grocery store, gay sauna, night club or 'dangdut'. hehehee... They have computers with internet for guests to use. FOC. all reviews » Clay hotel was a ten minute walk away from Plaza Indonesia and close to all sorts of public transport. Staff was very friendly and helpful in searching particular inquiries or calling taxis. Breakfast was delicious, choice of rice, local cuisine (varies daily from good chef), soup, toast and juice. Of course coffee and tea. The staff was very friendly and made us feel very welcome there. Very nice when you arrive in a busy place like Jakarta. It's close to Gambir station (just 10 minutes by taxi) so very convenient when you just arrive in Jakarta and want to travel to other places in Java. The room was small but had everything we need. Clean and nice hotel, Sudirman train station is in walking distance that connects all major train stations in Jakarta, Grand Indonesia Shopping Center is also in walking distance. Breakfast could've been better, no gym and pool. i only didn't like the breakfast, unless you like a local food for that. In short, given the price we paid, we kindda expect more than this. small window, small room even for deluxe size, the area quite dark even just apposite to the road during the night. The area surrounding is noisy and not too easy to reach the location. Room is really small. no butter for breakfast, but ok lah. Room too small and some without window. The indicator sound of the lift is soooo annoying...please silence it...the sound is disturbing my sleep because my room is near to the lift. We dont need the sound for the lift to indicate the lift already reach our level. It should be replaced by sign up and down only...thts much better less noise. breakfast not good enough, bathroom so smelly, no shower for toilet activity. Smelly rooms, bad breakfast, loud hallways and elevator sound even in rooms, bad staff, if you don't pay immediately, you get locked out of your room......
