The restaurant, where you have the nice breakfast (and can have dinner as well) is right at the ocean front. So you have breakfast while have a gorgeous ocean view. The rooms are clean and the bathroom has a nice island touch as it has no roof. So you can take a shower while looking into the sky, beautiful! Their pool is really nice as well and it doesn´t smell like chlorine at all. The location is maybe 10 min walk from the "harbor" where the fast boat leaves you. On the map it might look that.
all reviews » We loved our stay here. We stayed in a fan cooled one bedroom treehouse, so there were some bugs and the room did get hot at times, but they provided us with bug spray, a mosquito net, and coils. The room was kept quite clean. The highlight is definitely the free breakfast! Would definitely stay here again. the bed is good, clean and comfortable. I stayed at tree house with the fan, but i didn't feel hot and free from mosquito because the bed was covered with a net. Good breakfast, good dinner for seafood lovers. Location to the beach and the entertainment facilities Breakfast was included Reasonable rate of IDR 500,000.-/night for a well furnished/clean (!) bungalow. Staff were brilliant, attended to all our needs. The location was in the more luxe end of the island which was great. Great food as well. Very good location and nice restaurant terrace. We suspect that the beach house hotel received a "referral fee" for our speed boat transfers, since the transfers were paid at the beach house...but hey it's Indonesia ;) Sometimes the noise from surrounding pubs can be annoying,especially if it's early in the morning. Internet connection was slightly annoying as you had to continuously reenter the log on details. Breakfast could have more options to choose from: there are no fresh vegetables, any kind of cheese or ham/bacon related stuff. I was charged 5 USD for a small glass of milk asked from the staff in of the evenings as one of my friends was not feeling well. For the rooms located near the main street, it may get a bit noisy on Wednesday / Thursday nights due to the parties in the Irish Pub near by. Restaurant a bit overpriced. The rooms could benefit from a lick of paint. The electricity often goes off but this is typical for the whole island and was not a major probelm for us. nothing not to like. The room doesn't have Cupboard and the bathroom doesn't have pulverizer to clean ourselves after defecate... If there is anything you don't like about this place then the islands are not for you!!!. 1. The bed was uncomfortable. We had to take a studio room for the last night as we decided to stay an extra day. The studio rooms are pretty small. Can't fault it for the price we paid. poor shower pressure. Bathroom need to be update. Check out can be at 12noon instead of 11am. Sand in the bathroom, dark room, no wardrobe. nothing. Next to nightclub, loud music till early hours. The bed. Noisy generator or something close to our room which clattered and turned off and on. Not to many choices for breakfast. The nightly party was next door on one night and was very noisy with doof doof till 2am. A little later than usual. Perhaps we should have been there!!! Gili t is more for the younger crowd but at 50+we really enjoyed our stay. Somebody took our bike that we left right in front of the hotel!. Small bathroom, too simple breakfast. I was put in a room with a faulty toilet and the smell is unbelievable. The staff offered to rectify it by putting in more air fresheners and other engineering work which were unclear to me because a faulty sewage system can't be repaired in an hour. Was also told that there were no other rooms and I had to move out to another hotel after one night. But one staff was very helpful to find another hotel for me. Kudos to that.
