  Wonderful place! I wanted to come back before I even left :)! My stay here was absolutely amazing: comfortable room, very clean, great breakfast, swimming pool, beautiful garden. It is an oasis of peace and serenity. But most of all I would like to give my praise to the staff - amazingly warm, helpful and friendly. Pink guava juice was my fav - We just like about everything about this place. You don't feel like staying in a hotel, but staying with a warm , friendly family. The coffee and tea is all day for free. You don't have to make your coffee and tea yourself, but they serve it for you for free. Rumah Mertua has a beautifull garden. The food is excelent.   I sincerely can't think of a negative thing to say about Rumah Palagan Guest House. Our weekend stay was absolutely fantastic. Other reviewers are right when they say that the staff is remarkably friendly and attentive. Rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean -- NO bedbugs! Also, the price is most affordable. We found the location to be quite... what people say » convenient and didn't experience any problems at all in terms of the "sketch" factor that others have noted. - Loved this hotel. The decor is awesome, the location was great, and more than anything the staff was amazing! The rooms were clean and nicely furnished. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and gave us good options for dining and local nightlife. The hotel staff goes above and beyond making their guests feel comfortable and appreciated. I will definitely be staying there again and will recommend it to anyone traveling to Yogyakarta
