Everything, the staff on the desk, housekeeping, the restaurant staff and food choice. all extremely good. We were on a letsbookhotel.com offer so a bit biased on value for money, but would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. Roof top bar lovely. AN excellent hotel with splendid facilities and lovely staff. Great food and all very good value. Good internet connections and very good decor and cleanliness.
all reviews » Like I said its value for money and ticks most of the boxes. In other words for a short visit to PONDY this is an ideal place to stay in. I liked almost everything about the hotel. The room, the view, the service, employees and I totally enjoyed the free wi-fi!. The service was too good. The staff also very good. Very clean rooms. Nice facilities. Worth for your money. Good clean hotel with a decent pool and a good breakfast. Bathroom was particularly good by Indian standards.The rooms were clean and swimming pool was really good. The buffets were good and served lot of variety. . The staff are very polite and friendly always with a smile... My hearty thanks to vignesh and vimal... The room was excellent. Swimming pool cold, but that was more to do with the weather than hotel,but extremely pleasant to swim in brrr !. The roof top pool is too shallow for a third of its length for proper swimming, though it suits children. The restaurant's food wasn't up to the mark of a 4-star hotel but it was still nice. The food was little costly. Rest all was excellent. The TV was a not good - very few channels (due to a power cut supposedly) and then when it did a very limited range. I wanted to relax and watch some sport in the evening and was not able to. Not much to write about the negatives. Breakfast can me improved to meet 4-star standards. The shower stinks for a little while and gradually disappears. Half the staff are very incompetent. Room service was not handled well. Little bit out of the way, maybe 10 minute walk to main drag? Bit noisy too. The QUALITY of food could be better, They have to work on the quality of material they used. In suites room could be nicely decorated.. they have to work on it.. in my suites room half of the space was empty and furniture were not properly organized.. There is not a single complaint which you can think of. Pool being closed - that was a factor considered while booking the hotel. Area around the hotel is very dirty. cleanness of room can be improved. Room not soundproofed. Booked for a Superior room but was given a standard room faking it as a superior room. I paid for the superior room in letsbookhotel.com but was duped with a standard room.
