A sanctuary in the madness. Easily the best hotel we stayed in in India. The rooms are small but well appointed and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms are smart, well designed and super clean. We made use of the courtyard area which is a nice place to sit, read and relax in, away from the chaos of the streets. Next door to the hotel there is a really good, although pricey, restaurant that has fantastic breakfast options and the numerous restaurants and bars of Connaught Place ar.
all reviews » I've been staying in several hotels in this area, but never came across a hotel this clean, staff such professional and amenities this modern in Pahargunj, for the money i paid. I've stayed in several hotels across Europe, and the rooms and interiors at this hotel easily match any of the European hotel. while I was inside the room, there was no way to tell that i am still in Delhi's Pahargunj. As long as the tariff stays same, I wont be looking for another hotel when i come to New Delhi. Excellent staff. They helped us out and answered all of our questions. The room was clean with a/c and filtered water was provided for free. We had free Wifi everywhere. An Italian restaurant is attached to the hotel which provides good European style food. The stay there was enjoyable and I would recommend anyone going to Delhi to stay there. You feel completely disconnected from the dirt of Delhi. Great if you just arrived. The location is good if you want to catch the train. It's literally 300m from the main Railway station. The breakfast is about 5 EUR per person. The only thing that is not sweet is the scrambled eggs. The pineapple is good, apples no good. The beds were fantastic, as was the shower - a rare find in India unless you are paying big bucks for a hotel! Very welcoming, very helpful (arranged my onward bus to Jaipur for me, no hassle) I would absolutely recommend as a first stay in India to get yourself gently in to the Indian swing of things!. The Room was immaculate with soft and clean toiletries, high quality shampoo and shower gel, very comfortable bed, with soft pillows and super clean blanket. And all The Rooms are facing The inside courtyard, so there is no noise coming from The completely packed streets of paharganj!. I had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Loved everything about the hotel- cloud bed, grohe shower etc. Staffs were very courteous and will always greet you with smiling face. I simply loved Amici. Overall it was a great stay and will be definitely visiting again if I ever come to delhi. nice and trendy interior, we found everything very clean and neat, staff was nice, we loved the view from the roof and we also liked the location, right next to the train station, connaught place was also just a short walk away. price is reasonable, too, we would stay here again. By very far the best hotel I had in India, a haven of cleanliness, perfect design and usability, worth every single rupee. Not a reason though not to recommend the hotel. Smallest room we had in India. Nothing - I'd stay here again without hesitation. Nothing!. no window in the smaller rooms. The wifi didn't work the whole time I was there. Slightly noisy fan in room. To take the metro you have to cross a bridge next to the railway station, al dirty and full of people. But you can actually use the railway bridge, out of the hotel turn right ang go straight for 400 meters, on your left you will have the entrance to the railway. Our room, with a window to the street, was a little bit noisy, including during the night. Maybe you should ask for a room with inside view. Should provide a table for keeping the bags, Rooms should be made sound proof. It is bad when guests make noise in the middle of the night. The room is too small, but only for sleep is ok!!. Busy road. queen bed is a bit small for two people; should be a fan in the room; the tea service is laid out very late ( after 7 am). Nothing. No hairdryer in room which wasn't a major problem. The restaurant sold mostly very Western stuff like pizza and pasta and not very healthy food. Breakfast should probably be included. That one day we usted the free shuttle bus to the metro and Didnt drop us next to the metro Gate but the other side because for some reason the Driver wanted su to get an auto rickshaw instead of use the public transport which is a cheaper option to move in Delhi and this was really annoying because we had to walked through a busy taxi area and we got arrashed by so many people. Staff is not helpful. Sometimes we need information about trip but they were not think that it's their business. the surrounding area. Located in a very crowded area. Decor a bit bland. Room was small but we were on a budget. Location a bit scarry.
