It was a great location and the owners/operators are great people. Their hospitality and breakfasts were excellent. We stayed a few days in mid April and a lot of shops/restraurants on the lake were closed. We would not like to be here in July/August. We are from Australia. People at the Villa were really friendly and helpful.Perfect location, just some steps away from the main beach of Siofok, close to all the shopping, eating, leisure facilities. Very clean hotel, friendly, family atmosphere. The location would be good for holiday makers who want to be right amongst the action. It is very close to the beach and restaurants. I was not able to connect to Internet (password required) and at 22.00 there was nobody to ask about it at reception, even if they should be there till midnight. No AC in rooms, gets very noisy with open window. Only 7 TV channels, mostly hungarian. I had to relocate 2 uninvited guests (spiders) sitting on the walls in the room.during the whole stay the room has not been cleaned, breakfast was a little beat boring,. No air conditioning. The owner till check out. Barking dog next door kept me awake all night,The room itself though is nice. Like all east europehotels...advertising satelite/cable tv is wrong, when the only englishspeaking channel they have is cnn. Waste of time.

This holiday home was built at the end of the 19th century for an upper-class family from Budapest. During the last 100 years it had many owners, but since 1947 it has been used as a guest house.
During the recent (2007) reconstruction of the whole building, the current owners have attempted to preserve the original style of the house, whilst equipping it with all comforts to satisfy all types of guest.
