What people say
Short: Perfect! We've been in hotels in China, Thailand, Germany, Russia, Netherlands, France, Italy, etc. and always had a 3star or more, Renieris was the first 2 star Hotel we choose and it was amazing to find out the cleaniness, friendlyness, service was the best we've ever experienced! This hotel is definatly worth more then 2 stars! Thank you family Renieris!. We had a beautiful sea view from our room. The owners were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is new, bright, clean and the pool area beautiful with a view, grass and flowers. Lovely breakfast room with a view, and a good continental breakfast buffet. We loved staying there, and appreciated the wireless connection troughout the hotel also.all reviews »
George and his staff were very friendly. The hotel had a super location, but if you are older or not in very good shape the 100 steps to the beach could pose a bit of a workout. The hotel was excellent value for the money.Within easy walking distance of the beach and numerous restaurants and easy bus connection into town. Excellent location, with a wonderful view over the bay. Very good value for clean comfortable rooms (with particularly nice balconies benefiting from the aforementioned view), an adequate breakfast and a nice swimming pool with pleasant bar area, where the beers are very reasonably priced..really enjoyed my time there. Great view from the hotel! Very nice facilities, incluiding a nice refreshing swimming pool. A real recommendation to everyone who likes to stay in the neighbourhood of Chania, which is easily accessible by public transportation from the hotel. great location high on a hill above the town of Stavros about 6 kms from Chania. George the owner was absolutely fantastic with his assistance. Previous reports about him on this site were not exagerating. The manager, Giorgio could not have been more helpful, nothing was a problem for him. He did everything possible to ensure that everyone enjoyed their stay. Outstanding view, helpful staff (thanks for everything, Giorgio!), great balcony. Best return on investment in Crete...Quiet elevated location, but just a short walk down to the beach and tavernas. staff's helpfulness, good service, comfort, beauty, reasonable price. Great location, lovely and clean hotel, would recommend to anyone. Small and friendly, family run hotel - just what we wanted. The view towards the sea. very friendly staff. A fantastic view. make sure you get a sea view room; an excellent base for exploring Chania and the West of the island. The staff were SUPERB- we broke down on the way to the airport and wouldhave missed our flight had it not been for the hotel guy who came out and helped us change our tyre. Lots, particularly the location on the cliff which gave terrific views and the hotel design which enhanced views from most balconies. The pool area was very pleasant and the rooms were a good size with large balconies. Fitments were to a good standard and the hotel felt new.The welcoming nature of the hotel owner and staff, they were veryfriendly, accommodating and eager to please. We got hopelessly losttrying to find the hotel and the owner came in his car and rescued us. Very nice staff. The suroroundings and the wiev was nice.welcoming, friendly place, good service. Genuine desire to please by the family running the hotel, excellent pooland the cleanliness is unparrelled.the rooms were very clean and they even took my laundry to the laundrmat for no extra charge!. I liked everything, the room, the helpful staff, the view, the pool, itwas great!. The staff was very helpful. Georgiou, the young proprietor, was what made our stay so pleasant.Always helpful,he assisted us with local sights, return of key to our previous hotel ,and the internet.Couldn't ask for anyone nicer and was always "hands on" and available.Balcony view was great.Free computer with internet connection, very helpful staff, very clean and spacious rooms, great shower. Nice and quiet, but still close to the beach and the towns. the hotel staf was excellent. Family run and small hotel were main likes. Free internet access wasgood. Our room was nice, large and with balcony sea view. We was at ground floor (no elevator). There is free internet (open wifi and a PC if you don't have). It's very near (1,5 km) to one of entrances of the free hi-way (called "New Road") that hallows to go fast to eat and west. In 1:30 h you can drive either to Sfakia or to Elafonissi. The view is fantastic. The hotel is atop a hill, which gives the beautiful view, but that also means that if you don't have a car, you must walk down and up stairs to the main street and beach. Not a problem for most people. We asked for a double bed as marked on our reservation form, however we were given a double twin bed. No problems at all.this is not a dislike but a suggestion that as there is a fridge in the room a kettle and cups could be provided as the hotel is some way from anywhere to get a drink especially off season. There was noise from the coastal road. The fact the hotel provided steps down to the beach was a positive but climbing 114 steps - we counted them after a heavy evening meal was a bit hard - but this hotel still rates 10 out of 10. This is typical of Greece as a whole and not a reflection on thehotel (as we were later to find out) - but the bathroom design couldbe much improved.A little difficult to find. Breakfast was dissapointing: everyday cheese and ham, plastic cups of marmelade, some cereals and beverages, ... eggs would've been great! Or something a little more traditional maybe.poor breakfast. Tea making facilities in bedrooms and some more variety with breakfastswould have been nice.Air conditiong is not included in the rate (It's an extra 5 EUR/day): but we did not use: wheather at night is not hot and you can let the window open. The breakfast is very typical and after the second day is boring. Also, the rooms could be a little bigger.
