The owners (Dimitra and Angelica) were very friendly, their hospitality. Villa was in a very good shape, it has a very good position with a large terrace that gives you the possibility to see a superb panorama of the aria (the Palamidi Castle, the gulf, Nafplio, Argos etc.). It is located near to Nafplio (5 min. By car). The Epidavuros archeological sit is not faraway (30 min.by car). You can go to the beach too, near to Nafplio.
all reviews » nice location with the beautiful view-however bring your sat nav (GPS) to find the place:) owners Dimitra and Angeliki were very friendly and charming- they made us feel at home, nice cake and lemonade awaited us on our arrival, every single piece of food served in Illiothea was home made and everything was so delicious:) , around 20 minutes walk to Old City of Nafplio; great value for money; highly recommended!!!. The location is in the heights of Nafplio giving a spectacular view of the city, the bay and the castle. The facility is like a private large and new house. The upper floor is solely for the guests with 4 well furnished rooms. Breakfast is do-it-yourself which gives flexibility and freedom and taking the breakfast an a large terrace viewing the city, bay. Rooms are well equipped and a functional bathroom. The welcome at Iliothea was very warm and friendly. Throughout our stay there was always plenty of home-made food and drink. We particularly recommend Angela's home-made orange cake and lemonade! The house is set on a hill overlooking the town of Nafplio, and the views of the town, the bay and the mountains beyond are simply astounding! Great value for money, highly recommended. Όταν θα ξαναπάω στο Ναύπλιο, πάλι εδώ θα μείνω. Σπάνια βρίσκεις τέτοια φιλοξενεία. Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο, καλαίσθητο, έστω και χωρίς θέα. Όλα τα λεφτά όμως ήταν η εκπληκτική θέα στο κοινόχρηστο μεγάλο μπαλκόνι (κάτι σαν κήπος). Το πρωινό αν και τυπικό, θα μπορούσα να το χαρακτηρίσω ικανοποιητικό. We stayed there for two nights (6-8 Sept). Very caring hosts. The room was very clean and spacious. The view of the bay from the terrace was spectacular. We did enjoy it while having a delicious home-made breakfast. A place to come back in our next visit to the area. Reception and service impeccable. Contact with owners-managers very personalised, They are extremely helpfull and friendly. Rooms comfortable. Common rooms spacefull and well equiped. Large terrace with a beautifull view on the city and the bay of Nauplion. we enjoyed our stay at iliothea so much. the owners are people from the heart and will try to help you in every way. the location is superb and the breakfast is superb. thank you so much!!!. The view of Nafplion, hospitality of the host family. everything was absolutely faboulous. only negative point are steps to get to the facility being a difficulty with luggage. Nothing. we had trouble finding it, but thats our own fault :-))) you need gps or navi. Water was out in the morning (no fault of Iliothea). A bit hard to find as have lat/long coordinates only to work from.
