The staff were polite, helpful, friendly, easy to understand, available - in short faultless. The hotel was very easy to find and very close to the airport, we just needed a place to stay the night before an early morning flight. Althought we had to check out before breakfast, the staff packed us a breakfast to go that was healthy and nutritious and felt put together with TLC. The room had a refrigerator we could use, the room was tidy, and the building felt historic yet clean. It was a very ni.
all reviews » Staff is friendly, and working hard to improve what was previously a neglected property. Attached restaurant is good, which is important since there are not many alternatives. This is the closest hotel to the Iraklion airport (but not walking distance), for those flying in or out. Pool is clean and refreshing. Close to town only 1.50 euro on bus and regular to get to Knossos and link to major bus station. Only short ride from airport but still far enough out to have access to great beach and bars. Hotel has great swimming pool and the room was ok size with balcony. Location only five minutes from the airport, 24-hour staff at Front Desk, which is rare in Crete, restaurant open until 2200 for late arriving clients. Staff is friendly and speaks English well. A clean and well priced budget accommodation close to Heraklion airport. The owners were friendly and helpful. A good first night in Crete before travelling to the far east of the island. Room was comfy with a view of the sea,airport,and motorway. Price was good, for 4 nights, as was the taverna.Staff were chatty and pool was open, but cool. Great Restaurant! Not much really. Have been before but choice of room can affect how people judge the hotel! And the surrounding area may put some people off?. Breakfast was too little. But in Greece breakfast is not important at all and we adapted using the bakery across the street. pool was not open, being repaired a bit pricier than nearby hotels, that seemed just as comfortable. I did not like breakfast but we were late mayby that was the reason, we helped ourselves though in the kitchen to some bread and coffee was almost done but there was a lady who helped me to another cup by holding the container in a different way. We had to close the windows at night because of the noise coming from the beach and there was no possibility to put the aircondition on!. Nothing. You have to pass through two not very nice beaches to get to the excellent one. Moskitoes, the main problem of this hotel - is moskitoes. Stuff need to give clients not only keys and condition remote control, but also an electrical fumigator with tablets. Noise from adjacent airport. - very limited breakfast choice - frequent noise from the planes taking off/ landing - bathroom could have been cleaner. No hot water one of the evenings. Very basic breaklfast with really weak coffee. Rooms close to reception are very loud. Bathroom wasn't great, but kind of standard of what we experienced in Greece. The bed wasn't very comfortable. Some noise from airplanes from nearby airport. Towels need replacement. Not much near to the hotel. My room was downstairs in main building and it was quite loud. The Wi-fi was able to be used only in public areas for some reason. Would stay there again if I really needed to for airport access. Stale bread at breakfast. Room was really dirty, towels look like they weren't changed from previous roomers. Noisy, near the airport, poor breakfast. The size of the shower... too small.
