Dassia is busy and the main road can be noisy. La Calma is set well back from the road so is very quiet. Staff very friendly despite limited command of languages other than Greek. The owner Mr Laskaris has reasonable English. A manager who is completely fluent comes in a few times a week. Beautiful well-kept gardens and large swimming-pool. Wonderful views over the island to Albania. Breakfast tomatoes and watermelon both excellent.
