A family run guest house. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They provided breakfast every morning. Our room faced the two castles. Definently within walking distance of Horn, Schwangau, and Hohenschwangau if you don't mind going for a 20 min walk. It is immaculately clean and well maintained. They were pretty reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend them.
Room was well furnished with built-in storage. Nice little balcony with
a view of the castle past a bucolic cow pasture. Nice German breakfast
of breads, jams, yoghurt, cereal, meats, and cheese. Shutters kept out

Very close to Schloss Neuschwanstein and lovely view of the castle from the hotel. Good budget / no-frills option if you don't mind being outside of the town of Fussen (it is a only a couple minute drive way).
This Pension was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good. And the view of Neuschwanstein castle was a real plus.
The hosts took us to Mass and picked us up! The view of the castles was great after the fog lifted!.

Hostess was very upset that we arrived at 10:00 pm without calling to
say we'd be late. Our apology and explanation did little to end her
lecture, but she was nicer in the morning after accepting a conciliatory
bottle of wine.
Located on a busy road so there was some traffic noise.
