Semplice ed essenziale, ma pulito e molto tranquillo. Proprietario (italiano) simpatico. Ottimo rapporto qualita`/prezzo. Kind stuff, location, breakfast. Very nice room in 6th floor with small tilted rooftop window. Had been occupied by smokers, which I did not particularly like, but it was ok. Central location by the railway station, about 1km from the Old Town and a bit more from the university. all reviews »
The manager was very pleasant and it was close to the station. Cage of the balcony is too low. Breakfast was limited. Room tiny...

Mainz...also called THE GOLDEN MAINZ AT THE ALTVATER RHINE...is the door to the romantic Rhinegau which ist's unique and world famous castles and wine-yards (UNESCO-WORLD-HERITAGE since 2002). Mainz is also famous for its FASTNACHT (Mardi Gras) its ancient roman history and its churches (expl. Saint Stephan with its windows made by Marc Chagall and the Mainz-Cathedral wich is over 1000yrs. old...etc.). Mainz and the HOTEL TERMINUS are the pefect places to start and to finish your trip to EUROPE

The hotel provides 28 guest rooms with altogether 44 beds. Available are single, double and triple rooms. The rooms are all equipped with private shower/WC, internet access, direct dial telephone, colour-TV and sound-proofed windows.
Non-smoking rooms on request.
Travelling information
There are two airports serving our area. Franfurt-Intl.-Airport and Frankfurt-Hahn. If you are arriving at F-Hahn you are using the shuttle-bus to Mainz-Central-Station(Mainz-Hbf). If you are arriving at F-International you go to Terminal 1, there to the Regio-Station and enter the S8(dir. to Wiesbaden) at track #3. You will leave the train after ~25 min. at Mainz-Central-Station(Mainz Hbf). We are only just 1 min. away by foot from Mainz-Hbf (you will see our big yellow advertisement).
