From Stuttgart (A8 motorway), drive along the A99 motorway until you reach the München-Nord exit. Continue on the A9 motorway towards Nuremberg until you reach the Garching-Süd exit. Continue on route B471 towards Ismaning.

if you are travelling from Munich, drive along the Mittlerer Ring until you reach the Unterföhring exit. Continue towards Ismaning.
