Excellent service, cleanliness, comfort, value for money. Hotel staff extremely friendly and helpfull. Most beautiful area. The view , the hotel amenities and the large room.Loved the "kinder room" for our 6 year old kids. They had a great time. excellent food, good staff. The room was spacious, the balcony had a good view over the lake, thestaff were very friendly, the service good, a wide selection for thebreakfast buffet and very good indoor and out door pools + very near theopera house and lakeside. An excellent location for walking and visitinglocal castles. I would certainly stay there again.

Travelling information

By car: A7 (highway) to Fuessen, at the end of the B310 (traffic light) turn right (direction Fuessen) in to the B16, after 50m (before the roundabout) left. Follow now the signs to the hotel Sommer (right at the lake Froggen).

If you are coming from the castle Neuschwanstein or from Schwangau, turn at the first traffic light to the right and follow the road directly to the hotel.

By train: The train station is located in the centre of the town.
