This is a beautiful small town! The room was large and comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. The staff was friendly and spoke excellent English. There was a wide variety on the breakfast buffet and all the food was fresh and delicious. The friendliness and warmth of the owner on our arrival. We would like to return and stay longer next time. A first class hotel.The people were very friendly and helpfull. The room was big and clean.It was not far from Schaffhausen and Insel Mainau. all reviews »
A peaceful village location, extremely large and clean rooms, nice view, and wonderful owners and staff.Friendly staff. Room was basic but very clean. Breakfast was fair. Quadruple room was very inexpensive compared to other hotels nearby. Our room for 4 people (2 adults and 2 older teenagers, one boy and one girl) had a king size bed and a double bed. We were able to take one of the twin-sized mattresses off of the king bed and put it on the floor for one of the teens to sleep on.Only 2 small soap bars and 2 packets of shampoo provided for a family of 5. We also had a terrible problem with mosquitoes in the room. Even after killing many of them, we still got bitten during the night.
