Wine tasting was organised for free and excellent choice of wines was offered. The room was large, and the bed was comfortable.There was no hot water or heat during our stay at the end of October. Very cold. Also, the hotel charged my credit card twice. I have been disputing this with them and my credit card company for 3 months! I have had to report the charges as fraudulent activity in order to get my money refunded.

A fine selection of wines and other drinks are served at the restaurant. Hot and cold meals are available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and on other days on request.
The restaurant is open from the end of April until the beginning of October. From Monday to Saturday, it is open between 10:00 and 20:00. On Sundays it is open between 10:00 and 13:30. The restaurant can be opened outside of these times on request.

Connoisseurs and wine lovers can gain an insight into the process of winemaking by taking part in an informative slide show held by the landlord, Hermann Radmacher.
Go for a tour through the wine-growing estate and visit the impressive Felsenkeller (wine cellar) with its wooden barrels, as well as Germany's last remaining vineyard locomotive and its original tracks.
Even if there is no vineyard tour taking place, Hermann can arrange wine-tasting and show you the wine cellar.
