The owner picked us up from the train station and brought us to the apartment, showing us round before leaving which was a nice touch.
The apartment was perfect for a couple to share, everything was provided for (tea/coffee etc) as well as comfortable seating and beds.
Efficient, friendly, spotlessly clean. Great location by the autobahn, but suburban, easy to find baeckerai etc.
Good facilities in the apartment. Bathroom spotless, great shower.

The landlady was really nice and helpful. The location is great and the flat itself is rather nice.
Easy access to the city.
Very quiet, good localisation for going for one-day trips with a car.
As with all flats I expected to be noise form other neighbours but (and I know this is out of the control of the owner) you could hear everything in the flat, kids running around shouting and screaming as well as parents shouting at the tv and fridges opening and closing for instance! made it difficult to hold a conversation without having to stop halfway through until it quietened down a little. It's good the building adhere to the ten o'clock rule so at least you can get some sleep!.
Beds weren't comfortable, especially the sofa. There is a very strong smell of smoke in the hallway (I understand that is not the fault of the landlady, but it was rather unpleasant).
Generally clean, but a little bit too dirty in hidden places, e.g. behind bed.
