Great experience. Breathtaking views of Monte Carlo from different parts of the hotel. Staff was very helpful & friendly. One member of the group had to delay their trip by a day, and the hotel decided not to charge us the room rent. Lovely luxury hotel with the most amazing views for Monaco and Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and the Mediterranean. Large, luxury suites. Lovely staff who were always willing to assist. Free parking, wifi and shuttle to Monaco.
all reviews » It is in amazing location directly above Monaco. Fantastic views from rooms and restaurant. You need a car (and navigator) to get there and visit places nearby. Monaco is 15-20 minute drive. We Booked a suite, but nothing prepared us for the fantastic view and service we had. Magnificent. Food in restaurant was fantastic. Staff were so helpful. A real treat all round. The staff were first class, very courteous and very helpful & the views were stunning. Would definitely recommend this hotel. the view from the pool was outstanding as was the service around the pool. 5 star view would return just for the view. Beautiful views. The restaurant served under cooked fish and I had to check if I had accidently ordered sushi. The quality of the breakfast was low for a 5 star hotel, but nice enough. The sink in my room had a broken beam. There was a machine sound starting every hour disturbing my sleep witch also made the lights blink. Please!!! Get rid of the wall-to-wall carpets! Taks you back to the 80:ties and is not hygienic. Interior decor dated There is some room for improvment of english language at the front desk. The pool bar was closed and no temporary alternative available. Should have been easy to set up a simple alternative. Strange smells in the room. Un-aired, moldy. Probably due to the damn carpet. Spa area is very poor: they have one small finn sauna and Hammam. Hammam was out of service. pool was cold in the morning. The food at the restaurant is expensive and not really that good. Telephone in the room did not work, also not after two days. We had lot of ants in the room!!. - mistakes with the restaurant bill - additional items more than once. Restaurant and pool not accessible for my disabled mum Pool area not ready to use or clean lower restaurant and bar not open. people smoking at breakfast. rooms and bathrooms needs some updating. Location was too far from main centers and taxis were needed to get to them which took time and cost. The service was poor - had to hunt waiter in bar and go to reception to connect with room service. Ordered a pizza from room service and it was terrible and frozen/processed. Should have rung Dominos or Pizza Hut!! Main restaurant shut main lounge bar shut all in Mid September. Given the views rthey should be vibrant areas for guests and visitors. Breakfast was better. The reception staff were better than the bar/restaurant staff. Poor standard of room furnishings and lack of tea/coffee making facilities in room.
