The hotel is very well located - in a quiet area just a few stops on the tram from the Old Town. The villa was built in 1869 and the host does his best to maintain the air of antiquity in his hotel. The rooms are very clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable. We slept really well. The host was very helpful - he eagerly told us about places of interest in Nice and how to get there. After Nice, we were going to visit Grass, and the host gave us a 10% discount coupon to Frago.
all reviews » The staff is extremely friendly and helpful,we arrived very late at night but he waited for us,carry the luggages for us and removed his car from the parking space to make one for our car! The hotel is very delicated and beautiful,you can enjoy the strong mediterranean elements.It a fair good location,it takes 5 mins to drive to the city center.Moreover,good price in Nice during summer peak season. The location is excellent. Seven minutes walking from the Tram station. Traveling by Tram takes about 10 min. to the centre of Nice. There are free parking place to your car (rearly avalible in the center of Nice). Friendly people. The land lady speaks English. The land lord is very kind and wishing to help. If you wish to arrive late, argee the exact time, in advance with the land lord. Helpfull friendly staff makes you feel right at home. They were very passionate about their hotel. The hotel itself has a rich history, and the room we were assigned was beautifully decorated with flowers on the wall. The airconditioning was also very welcome during our stay. The location was extremely convenient, as it was accessible by tram. The garden was really beautiful with palm trees and exotic plants. The house made you feel like traveling back in time. The hotel was cute because the owner renovated old house, and thus you feel like you are home. It has a great garden. The hotel is run by a very nice and helpful couple. The room is a little bit small but I wish I can come back as I promised to the hotel staff(maybe he is the hotel owner I think). Nothing. It could help having a designer to make the best out of the old house and get rid of some of the things that don't match the rest of the decor. The room we stayed in was very small...the shower could be modernized. Location. What I did not like about the hotel was that it had a small parking space. Only two cars fit there and you had to move your car if somebody needed to drive out. We had a very small room, no air conditioning, just a fan, which did not help at all. The room was very noisy and hot. Breakfast was poor. Location far from city center and beach. Rooms not very soundproof and bed was uncomfortable. Could do with some updating, but without losing its charm. small bathroom with no curtain shower, dated space, window directly to the street.
