We stayed there for one night, the parking so close to the room which made things easier since traveling with kids, the hotel was around 10 minutes drive from parc Asterisk which was our destination the next morning. The room was new, so the smell of fresh paint was a bit strong but not annoying. The hotel was very nice. The name airport hotel is deceptive, it is quite a way from the airport and none of the taxi drivers knew where it was, someone finally figured out where the town was. The young couple who I believe own it were really nice and eager to help.

Cleanliness and comfort were very good for a hotel in France. Clean and next to airport. The area is natural. Not much. Close to the airport. There was a coffee/tea machine but it would have been nice if there was a breakfast available as there was nowhere in town to get breakfast. I would recommend the hotel with a few warnings re: there is no Free shuttle to the airport and no breakfast. May be they should think of providing facilities for breakfast . * No breakfast. I have checked afterwards and it's true it was not in the offer. But still, when you book a room, you do not check that because that's unusal. So I can not say it was not OK, but this is something you have to know while booking. Fire alarm went off twice during our 1 night stay. Arrived at 9pm on a wet november evening to find the car park gate locked and nobody answering the intercom. Fortunately after 5 mins another guest turned up who knew the gate code. When we got to reception we had to wait again for somone to come and open it. A similar situation occurred at 6.30 the following morning. It's way out in the sticks. Without your own vehicle access is very difficult. No restaurants within walking distance. Staff are extremely limited in English. The hotel shuttle is more expensive than a cab and will only take you to the airport. No one there when we arrived. Could not get in the gate. Workman let us in to parking lot . We then waited a half a hour until staff got there. It would not hurt to have breakfast. It's written in your site the hotel is 3 mins away from the cd airport and the fact is it's not less than 10 mins. Another thing is that staff hardly speaks English plus that there is no food in the hotel while it's in a remote area. The motel seem to lack in understanding how to make guests feel welcomed. One of the most irritating thing that there was no breakfast available and no access to food or drink at all apart from a vending machine in the reception area. I would no recommend this motel. It was well overpriced in view of the limited service you received. Almost impossible to use the shuttle. The staff's directions were hard to follow, both in English and French, and the location is so remote that taxi drivers don't know how to get there.
