Chantal is very friendly and the room was very clean. The location was excellent. it is near some gret historical places to vid with incredible view points ner by. You must take the many stairs o get to and from the old city but my son and found this to be part of the charm. We felt very sac here in Lyon and walking at night up those stairs. Chantal helped us with finding places t go to on the map. It is quiet and a very interesting older home with very high ceilings and lots of character. all reviews »
The room was absolutely fantastic. It was everything i had pictured and better. The display and everything is classy and welcoming. yet you should pay attention to Their Check-in policy. The house is empty before 18:00 and you need to have a password getting inside. The house owner is extremely kind and helpful. The location is not bad. it is up in the mountain but only 5 minutes to metro. But you need to notice that the payment has to be in cash.
Really nice place to stay, quiet and friendly owner! The house and the room are just so lovely and so close to public transport, so easy to get there! I'll recomend it for a few days stay in town more for a couple of friends or others or alone!.

from old Lyon and Restaurants however took the Funicular quite easily.My husband can't wait to stay there again and have breakfast on the terrace.
The lady running the pension is very kind and helpful. The rooms are simply equipped. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. Location is perfect. The breakfast was delicious.
Chantal (the owner of the hotel) is very nice. It's a very warm coming environment and it feels like home.
p.s. Charlie, the dog is also is also very very nice....

Just keep in mind that is uphill. You have to walk a lot. But it is old town!.
If you have noisy neighbours, it is be much less enjoyable.
Sometimes I could hear the guests on the room next door.
