The location it's the best, just in front of Lourde's Grotte (cave). The staff is really friendly, I'm used to travel for business and I never found such a nice staff in the reception and in the restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant because the quality of the food it''s one of the best out of the summer season. Hard to find a good restaurant out of the season nearby the main Lourde's basilic. The rooms are not the best, a kind of old room without too much services. At least it's well is.

Staff really make you feel at home and really try and provide a great service. Early breakfast on day of departure. Supplies of toiletries replenished immediately. The best hotel staff I have ever experienced worldwide. - The staff were ever willing to help you. - The Reception Officer - Mr. Nicholas was the most hospitable. - Location-wise the very best for those making a pilgrimage to Lourdes; the hotel is situated at the gate of the Sanctuary. The candlelight rosary procession was incredible; visiting and praying at the grotto, chapels, and basilica were all very spiritually moving. There is plenty of hot water for showers and the bed was comfortable, but having seen the kitchens we wouldn't eat here. Hotel is dated, shabby and sadly a long way from it's graceful heyday. Chosen for it's parking and reviews of good staff - which were correct. If you are there for the grotto, the location is excellent - it's at the end of the street. Otherwise, go for a more expensive hotel on the outskirts up the hill. I liked that it offered overnight parking. Proximity to attractions but Lourdes is such a small city (approximately 1/2 mile square) all hotels are close to all attractions. Rooms/toilets could be improved, but it's fair considering the prices/room and the location. Decorateive state of hallways and bedrooms is poor. - The corridors are a bit narrow. - No exhaust in the toilet; however, the toilet is very clean. - No air-conditioner in our room. But they have a table-fan, which will suffice for cooler days. Old TV and Lumpy Bed. room adequate, tired looking. A little dated but reflected in the price. All ok. Wifi signal very poor in the building. Only capable of getting a signal in the cafeteria and reception. No wi-fi in room. The Room: Stained carpeting, mold on shower curtain, and the worst mattress we have ever slept on in our lives. We've logged hundreds of thousands of miles in travel, but have never encountered such a horrible mattress - lumpy, thin and with no support. We were glad it was for only one night. Though we hope to return to Lourdes, we will never stay at this hotel again. very tired interior in rooms and exterior terrence poor dinner choices, regretted booking meal. Though the hotel is fairly clean, the facilities are very old. The wall paper and carpet on the rooms and hallways are like centuries old. The TV set is very outdated. Basic facilities should be improved. Bedrooms need a new look very old. Lourdes town is a cynical disgrace. The "grotto" is exactly that with only Santa missing. Money-making scheme. Rooms poor, musty, dated, shabby, small and a disgrace. Appalling place. Unclean reception desk & person. Creaking floor. 1957 decor. This is a hotel that has not had a touch up in about 25yrs. I was offered to pay the eu$8 overnight parking; but to leave the car outside on the street & then they would in the morning bring it inside. Hotel adds show a very classy facility but in reality the rooms were extremely small, missing grout on tub, shower curtain on bottom discolored, one tall blond 25ish front desk clerk when asked about transportation to airport did not mention airport was closed due to union strike past 2 days. Lastly access to free wifi is one chair in entrance lobby (12x12 feet) corner next to elevator with lots of distractions.
