This was a little gem. Perfectly situated close to the port of Caen yet
on the coast and in a little village. This was one of the lovely two
star hotels you get in France but with the plus of having been updated
very tastefully. It was comfortable, friendly and spotlessly clean.

The shower in our room was looseand although the hotel was supposed to
be dog friendly our dogs were not allowed in the bar although the owners
dog was in there.The breakfast was not set up on time.
No fire escape that we could see.
Rude unaccomodating owner. Room facing busy road. Breakfast not worth the money.
Despite giving notice of latish arrival (just before 10.00pm) the place was shut with no doorbell. An invitation to ring a tel. number was no use without a French mobile. Only able to ring through kind help from local pizza parlour.
