The staff was delightful(Front desk Charlene and our concierge), the rooms very comfortable and luxurious and the inside spa/pool area lovely. The gastronomic restaurant isexcellent. The chef is very creative and does complex dishes as well as simple dishes beautifully. Best lamb we've had in France in the past 8 years. Excellent staff and facilities. I had booked the reservation wrong and the staff went out of their way to help. Location is perfect if you are looking for something to do outside Paris and/or would prefer a nice place to stay near CDG.
all reviews » Location close to Chantilly Castle and Horse Museum was exceptional. Staff very friendly and efficient , whilst the bed was the most comfortable we have experienced in our travels. One word sums up this place, 'Magnafique' luxurious and your backyard is the Chateau Chantilly gardens, what more could one ask for, Oh yes, the superb pool, spa rooms. Great location, easy and safe parking. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.The room was large and bed very comfortable. This hotel benefits from a gastronomic restaurant and a non-gastronomic one.The non-gastronomic restaurant is not up to the standards of such hotel while the gastronomic restaurant, rewarded one star at the michelin guide of french restaurant, is not accessible. Bathroom/Toilet were not really clean, staff should also clean behind the Toilet door. Prices of drinks not in the level of delivered quality, I don´t care about prices but a cappuccino around 6 Euro should taste well... Even the drinks in the bar were very expensive compare to other hotels in that price scheme, but not really tasty... The bar staff were malfunctioning that afternoon. The prices were very high in the restaurant for its location. We visited on a Monday so the Michelin restaurant was closed. Disappointing but we still ate exceedingly well. Some time in the night too little people at reception and not speaking other than French. Everything at the hotel is expensive, however, one could argue this should be expected from such a high quality hotel. Nothing....... The main restaurant was closed on that evening. I knew - the food in thye other one was good. Next time the Gastronomic Rest will be tried. far from the city.
