Close enough to walk into town. Very pleased with the size of the appartment. We didn`t realise that we were going to get such a big unit with a kitchen. Excellent parking facilities. location, rooms, staff. The room was a vern nice size and had a perfect location. Right in between the Train staion and the center of town. Easly accessible form both places by foot.

Size vs price. Close to train station. value. use of refrigerator and cooker. It gave us what we needed, which was just a bed for the nights we were in Bordaeux. We were undisturbed and able to come and go as we pleased.It is very hard to like anything in the hotel. It was cheap.It was a nitce sizeable room. sometimes there was noone at the reception desk. The internet we had to pay for as expected; €7 for 24 hours. I was happy that it only charged for the time conected on line, but It was terribly slow and didn't work all of the time. Maybe it was just the few nights we were there. That was really the only dissapointment. The towels were not changed, but plenty were provided on arrival. It was closed when we arrived (2pm) until 3.30pm. Upon departure we could not leave our cases as the hotel was again closed on Saturday afternoon. Also, the booking agency said they did not take money out of your account until the full bill was paid upon departure, but a week before, a days payment was taken which we queried with our bank until we realised what hed happened. No air conditioning. Not quite central to tourist "bits" of the city centre. Hotel needs a bit of TLC, tatty round the edges. The dishes in the cupboard in the kitchen were not washed properly andwere quite dirty. There is no washing up liquid or sponge supplied and Isuspect that this is why previous tenants hadn't washed their dishesproperly. No kettle. Not in a great area but felt safe enough.Apartments would be superb if kitchen dishes was sorted out.Handy to Railway station and local tram system. The lady in the reception (on Sunday eve) was a bit harsh.The sign was not easy to read/see from the main road. poor area. yes, it was not open when we arrived in the afternoon, then the receptionist arrived ten minutes after advertized time.... but that happens. We booked two suites: one of them was very large and had a tv, the otherone was considerably smaller and didn't have a tv, yet they cost thesame, which was not fair. The kitchen was not properly equipped -onlyone spoon, one knife, no boiling pots, no dishwashing liquid. Bathroomvery small and not practical. Good location, close to the city center,but it was noisy and didn't seem very safe.two girls at the reception were quite helpful. however, when we left the hotel, we kept our luggage in the reception. the man who was supposed on duty didn't show up, we almost missed our train. After that, the man even didn't say sorry to us. Entire hotel could use a bit of maintanance and maybe better and abit better cleaning. Breakfast could have been a bit better (maybeadd fruit?). The area is not good/ save. It was too noisy, since I live in a suite facing the street,I can hardly sleep over the night!!. No light switch by bed. Very austere room. Only one seat to sit on and that turned into the bed ! No light switch near the bed.the bed. no air conditioning and also lift was out of order during all our stay and as we were on 5th floor it was terrible- never cleaned and got no clean towels provided after first day. The room was not cleaned for the whole 5 days and when ever we went to reception it was often closed, and one of the receptionist was more than unhelpful. The cleanliness of the room was terrible. The furnishing was old and improper, eg. cupboard closures are out of order. No hair dryer was available. Most of the equipments was not working properly. The hotel was not safe, no control for the main entry. Anyone can enter the room corridors. It is more like a hostel than a hotel. The price and class category is totally too much for this hotel.The location is bad. It is quite noisy at night and my partner and I did not feel 100% safe venturing outside when it was late. Also, it is about 3 or 4km from the town centre. You need to catch the tram to get into town. The hotel itself is not cleaned or maintained very well. Our toilet stopped flushing on the second day and there were no staff available to fix it. Avoid. The hotel doesn´t have a 24hours reception and there wasn´t any one to receive us during the day. Despite the beautiful decoration, the room is very dirty.My room looked nothing like the picture advertised. What is the point ofhaving a microwave if no plates or cutlery is provided. I had to ask thereceptionist for pillows as the bed didn't have any. The shower had nopartition or curtain so water went all over the bathroom floor. No maidservice so no new towels or bed sheets supplied. Situated in a very run down area and the double glazing is completely useless - you could hear traffic and people talking all night thus disturbing your sleep.
