The staff stand out first, they were friendly, effiecient, informative. I usually prefer hotels with 24 hour reception, but this hotel was centrally located and Arles is a safe place to be about at night, so using a code to let yourself in to the hotel after hours was acceptable. Everyone mentions the dated decor but I think the furniture in my room was absolutely beautiful and I wouldn't change it. Within walking distance to most of the notable place in the old town and close to the tourist of.

The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are clean and a pleasure to use, I saw beautiful sunsets from my bedroom window. The location was excellent, right in the main street, lots of restaurants and shops close by. Lovely walks and even if a distance away, if you don't mind walking, you could walk to the river and to the station. I have been to Arles before and will return in the future.
