  We stayed at Rantakatti for two nights in a triple room and were fully satisfied with all services. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The room is spacious and has a big terrace with amazing view on the lake. Breakfast was good and included everything you can expect from breakfast. Hotel is situated in a beautiful place with enjoyable view... what people say » s and it is not far from Savonlinna town so if you travel to Savonlinna but want to stay in a peaceful and quiet place overnight the Hotel Rantakatti - We stayed in the main building (there are reception and restaurant). It seemed we were the only guests in the hotel that day. We got 2 rooms on second floor with very beautiful views - 1 to lake, other to winter forest. It's hard to describe with words the magic of the wild nature, the forest, fresh air and total silence. We spent really wonderfull time in the hotel.

  Excellent location in the very heart of Punkaharju nature reserve. A starting point for biking trips or hikes. The swimming pool is nice and not really crowded. Breakfasts are ok. The place is really peaceful and quiet.

  We stayed for 2 nighs. The weather was bad. But cottage was excellent:more convinient, saune, wonderful facilities, fire place. We had a magnificent weekend. Thanks o lot! Especially thanks, the staff on reception! We got a lot of information about castle and museums that region. - Good location, not so far from Russia. Good value for money.
