I liked the hotel and I like Best Western chain in general. Reception is open 24/7 (which is not a must in Finland at all), breakfast is good, the room was big enough and comfy enough, wi-fi was functioning. Closer to 4 stars I'd say. They wrote that parking has to be paid extra in the description, but it's free on weekends. Payment required Mo-Fr until 6 pm only. We parked for free right next to the entrance for free over the weekend.
all reviews » I have been staying at this hotel for several years and enjoyed it. The hotel offers spa, healthy food both for breakfast and at the restaurant, splendid interior design. The staff is responsible and polite. It takes you 20 minutes by bus to the centre. The hotel is situated in a quiet area far from noisy traffic. Natalia from Russia. staff is really friendly, helped with any question, very comfortable hotel, bedclothes was great, swimmingpool and sauna in any time from 8 am to 10 pm, i have fogoten the card from the number and i throught that i must pay, but the admisistrator said everything is okey - no money. They take cards. The atmosphere in the hotel was relaxed and inviting. The staff were all very friendly. The service was excellent. The swimming pool was very spacious with a sauna. Especially I liked that I could have hot tea or coffee at any time,just in my room. I believe that the hotel is worth a staying. I would give this hotel 4 stars because the level is much higher then 3 stars - everything is new, clean, not weared out. Very good breakfast. It kept me full all day. Good place if you have a car. THE STAFF WERE AS PROFESSIONAL as we have seen in 7 weeks of travelling.The facilities were of a high order.Meals were a delight.Highly recommended in all ways. Twin beds are quite small. This hotel is for those who travel by car. Didn't quite figure out the heating/air conditioning and ended up sleeping in a very hot bedroom. not very hot sauna. Location difficult to find and get to,especially in the rain. Directions also misleading as walking distance was greater than 5 miles. 20 minutes from the city center by bus. small bathroom. Customer service in bar/restaurant area. Breakfast quite poor. It looked like self service of the youth hostel. Hair in shower drain. Dirty in the room.
