My wife and I were consistently pleased with everything about the hotel, staff, accommodations, food - everything. We arrived very late at night, and, because the room category we booked was filled up, we were upgraded. good location. It's location near the Port and the Old Town as well as the Tram Stop (just a few minutes walk). Principally location, 10minutes walking from ferry to Finland, and a supermarket and the town centre is walking distance too. There came a little bit noise from restaurants next building. nothing major, though rooms were a bit hot (no A/C in room). a bit of noise from outside (discotheque). Slowness of the lifts. The lack of space in the breakfast area - it often spilled out into the bar area.1) It is time that this hotel stop the cheap habit of wanting the payment upon arrival. If the rules are that the guests pay at departure - why discussing this? It gives a bad feeling. 2) On the first night there was a strong disturbing noise from the piping, and it lasted for three hours. It was almost impossible to sleep. We informed the reception, and the next night the noise was gone. The room had to be paid before hands at check-in, would be nice if this would be done at check-out... Room had quite thin walls; noice from the other rooms and from outside (nightclub next door) was a bit annoying.poor carparking. Personnnel was not the most friendly, actually little rude.Bad smelt in shower. It would be better if the price can be cheaper.stinky room. Dirty sheets.
